Do the Elected council members have "MOD-like" powers to use on thier respective threads and topics?

Like can they edit post if some fudgestick drops the F-Bomb?

Can they do a global ingore or whatever?

As far as I know, the only "mod-like" power Councilors will have is the ability to slap warns on people.

I can't wait until we have our first “warn fight” on the Council, with Councilors slapping warns on each other ala the Dr. Marvin Monroe “experimental group shock therapy” scene from The Simpsons.

Personally, I am very skeptical about that, and think it is at cross purposes with our roles as representatives. After all, how would you feel if your Senator or MP wrote you up for a parking violation?

I voted for about half of you but I'm not saying which half.

Sorry that Marg didn't win but, her avatars give me impure thoughts so, maybe it's for the best.

I got 18% of the ATS G vote without even campaigning.

Whoever voted for me, I wanted to give you a warm 'Thank you'.

I demand to know who was in charge of the Council chair budget.

You spent far too much on the number of chairs, look at all the empty seats!

I think moderating should be left to mods and Councilors should focus on listening to and helping both members and staff alike, and whenever I get the chance, will say as much.

I dont think councilors should have the ability to warn. We don't want members to fear us As councilors and assistants we want to help solve issues and keep members happy. Giving warns will only make members angry. I have a better idea

Congrats to all the winners, but more importantly congrats to everyone who VOTED! The people who voted have spoken and elected who they think will be the best! Again congrats to all who voted.
