Well this is just cool, but the only thing that would make it cooler would be to have the flight numbers attached with the figures. Supposedly, you are supposed to be able to attain this information by clicking on the planes but all I get is altitude and Aircraft type which seems to be odd because I get such plane types as F900, CRJ1, B752, B733, etc.

Wow. I took a look at the JFK real-time monitoring and zoomed out all the way and I'm amazed at how many planes are operating in the area around JFK. I wish they had this service for more airports.

That's easily the best link I've seen all week. AWESOME find.


I can't even begin to imagine the many uses, from terrorism to picking up your best friend's cousin. They've got JFK and LaGuardia so I'm good. The host of options is really quite excellent.

I'm so gonna just watch this all day.

Those are just the type of aircraft that you are viewing.
For example F900 would be a dassault falcon 90 I believe
and the CRJ1 is some sort of Canadair jet, most likely the 100 model.
