Alot of places do this to raise money for soom good cause or other, fact is it makes very little effect on the seismographs, a single person jumping
up and down would create around 30lbs of pressure (due to feet its spread out so its around 30)
Multiply that by 500 or so people who turned out and we have 15,000 lbs of pressure over the area of a football field...makes very little difference,
but anything raising money for a good cause is decent.
