lol, I've been saying this 4 so long......

Good Things:
Alright, equipment wise, it can b customized alot.
Good Size 4 A PRIMARY WEAPON
Good Overall Design
It's a bit better 4 Law Enforcement sense of it's rd. [Explain in Bad]

Bad Things:
SUPPRESSOR IS HUGE!!!
Rd isn't as strong as 4.6mm as with the MP7
4 a PDW, it's still 2 large

The MP7 can b equiped with a lot of accessories too, but I do prefer the P90s magazine design, 50 rd clip, and 4 SWAT Teams who might not always need 2 kill[that's more of a bad thing 4 the rd. lol].

www.fnherstal.com...

I can't get the exact thing, but in Law Enforcement and Small Arms 5.7mmx28 System, it talks about the P90.

P90 is NOT large at all, it's probably half the length of a M4, can't be carried like a pistol but that's okay since they are carried inside armor and such.

The MP-7 has increased muzzle velocity but I think the 4.6mm round don't really have the stopping power it would need, hence the high RoF and the large magazines/clips.

No, here's what I'm saying:

Weapons ppl like 2 carry around r pistols, and the MP7 is only a bit larger than a Socom MK23. So, that's what I would call a Personnal Defense Weapon. It's really the ONLY 1 that I would say is a PDW. Others I've seen, like the P90, r 2 large 4 things like that, but 4 a Primary Weapon, SURE!!! IT'S GREAT!!!

Plus, the 4.6mm can penetrate more layers of body armor than the 5.7mm, so I would easily prefer the 4.6mm.

This helps explain it better.

Now, what I would like, is the P90s magazine design put 2gether with the 4.6mm and the MP7s design and size.

THAT WOULD B MY PERFECT WEAPON RIGHT THERE. I don't care what ppl say about the P90 and MP7, THEY'RE BEASTY[Espically 2gether like that]!!!

A £3 MILLION order for a gun that can penetrate sophisticated body armour has been placed by the MoD police, it was announced yesterday.

The force will be the first in the country to get the Heckler & Koch MP7 carbine after rigorous tests to find the most suitable weapon for its armed-guarding duties, a spokesman said.

It will replace most of the three weapons now used by officers - the Browning pistol, the SA80 assault rifle and the Heckler & Koch MP5. It will be issued to officers who protect MoD buildings against armed attack by terrorists or criminal gangs.

The MoD police is the only force to have all of its 3,440 officers trained in the use of firearms. At any one time 70 per cent of them are carrying a weapon while on duty.

Tests proved that the new firearm can penetrate body armour, yet the round will not 'overpenetrate' causing a danger to bystanders. It is also light, easily maintained and simple to use and, after training, will be delivered to Ministry of Defence Police Officers across the country, replacing both the Browning pistol and the SA80.

The project is scheduled to achieve its In Service Date (ISD) in April - two months ahead of the estimated timing.

The MP7 is manufactured by Heckler and Koch of Germany. The weapon specific 4.6mm ammunition will be provided by UK manufacturer Royal Ordnance Radway Green.

The 'smart' nature of this project will see weapons remain under manufacturer warranty for ten years - a first within small arms procurement. The exact history of each weapon will be tracked and monitored. The expected service life is 15 years.

More than 1,500 systems are being procured. Final delivery from the manufacturer will be made in June 2005.

If this firearm is good enough for the Ministry of Defence to use to secure every sensitive site in Great Britain then it must be good. They hardly ever go about changing the firearms and it is their job to protect the Prime-Minister. Also if you go through and look at the various websites that mention it and talk about it most seem to like the stopping power of the weapon.
