UNITED NATIONS -- U.N. satellite imagery experts have determined that material that could be used to make biological or chemical weapons and banned long-range missiles has been removed from 109 sites in Iraq, U.N. weapons inspectors said in a report obtained Thursday...

In the report to the U.N. Security Council, acting chief weapons inspector Demetrius Perricos said he's reached no conclusions about who removed the items or where they went. He said it could have been moved elsewhere in Iraq, sold as scrap, melted down or purchased.

How can this be? Everyone knows Bush and Clinton "lied" about WMD's?

The first line on that report is key.

COULD

NOT IS WMD

Here's another gem.

He said the missing material can be used for legitimate purposes. "However, they can also be utilized for prohibited purposes if in a good state of repair."

Meaning there is nothing to this report about Iraq having WMD.

Chemicals have tons of uses. So do pipes. This is about as ridiculous a justification for the needless killing and suffering of thousands of people that I have ever read.

So when are we going to eliminate all hardware, department, and drug stores in the U.S. because items on their shelves "COULD" be used to create weapons?

This is from a UN report date June 3rd. So while similar, it is new news.

The point is that there was WMD's. Clinton knew it, Bush knew it, the UN knew it, the whole world knew it.

Plus, how can something that never existed be missing?

Your question has already been answered.
Materials that "could" be used in WMD's are missing. Theres no talk about there being any WMD's. A country the size of Iraq is bound to have alot of stuff that could be used in WMD's.

One of the elements the US was nagging about with these WMD's was some aluminium pipes Saddam had that "could" be used, if modified, for the enrichment of Uranium.

Heck considering the Aluminium pipe thing, I think I most likely have enough stuff in my house and in my parents hangar to build WMD's. Why not invade my backyard ...
