Has anyone here heard of Newgrange? Its an ancient site in Ireland built of stone, constructed about 5000 years ago in 3200BC! Its 600 years older than Giza and 1000 years older than Stonehenge! Also there is a special event that occurs there every December. On the Winter Solstice, the light of the rising sun enters the roofbox at Newgrange and penetrates the passage, shining onto the floor of the inner chamber. The sunbeam illuminates the chamber of Newgrange for just 17 minutes. That means these people must have had knowledge of the stars and the suns path. The High Kings (Ri's) are also buried there. Thousands of white shiny stones were found inside and archaeologists placed these outside. Many stones with swirly pictures were found. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Ireland is a really good place to see some pre-recoreded histoy the landscape its dotted with cairns(buirial mounds) and other monoliths standing stones and such, some are still ingraved with celtic runes and ogham , Ogham stones are like markers etched with a numeric sort of alphabet consisting of straight lines:

And finally recently found prehistoric map of the moon found in Co.Meath at Knoth Burial mound
