If you havent here is a brief surmise
He was on the weapons inspections team in Iraq looking for WOMD.
After the war and decisive lack of any such weapons there was a lot of interest in how solid the governments facts were on the weapons considering
some of the documents/proofs that they presented us with were very poor.
So a public enquiry was going to take place, with Dr David Kelly as the key witness.
He then turns up dead and has allegedly committed suicide, which is highly suspicious to me!
Now before he is even in the ground the government are trying to smear him by saying he was a "Walter Mitty" character. However, when he was useful
to the government as an inspector he was renowned for being a steadfast and resolute scientist.
Does anyone out there know any more facts about this?
Was he jeopardising things? Or just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
