That is astonishing.....I mean - MSPaint?!?! I can't even draw a stick figure in MSPaint...I don't see how he/she got all the tiny little details - Can you even zoom in with MSPaint??

Well - This cat has some talent - Imagine what they could do in Photoshop....

The painting was done with MSPaint with some blurring effects with Adobe Photoshop.

Consider that this is roughly the extent of my talent with MSPaint.

If your running Windows, you probably have MSPaint. In my OEM version of XP Home, it is under Accessories in All Programs.

Photoshop can be found at Amazon, among other places.

Photoshop is currently US$1,199.00, based on the price I doubt alot of people that have intricate avatars and are self-proclaimed "Photoshop experts" are using a real copy, they'll be insane to buy a real copy. It's not really that worth it trust me. You can buy another program that is just as good, if not better than photoshop.

PhotoImpression $49.99 - Just as many features as photoshop, and easier to use. I find it quite useful. No .gif format though. Recommended for most people, fun to use, free with Epson scanners.

Corel PaintShop / Corel PhotoPrint $59.00 - Runs circles around Photoshop, takes some skill but can create far more intricate images than Photoshop can. Supports animations; GIF, AVIs, MPEGS, MOV, etc. All in one package, Photoshop requires more software afterward to do this, saves even more money to get Corel PaintShop rather than Photoshop.

Photoshop is over-rated, have it on a work computer, dosen't do half the stuff I want it to do.

DeviantArt.com is simply one of the best digital art communities on the internet.

I have been a visitor and a member [non-artist] for over two years.
Some of the most beautiful stuff I have seen has come from the extremely talented artists, etc. on that site.

Great stuff there to be found.
