I'd recommend these and for their following reasons:
Basic Algebra - Teaches Problem solving methods
Geometry - Real World Application
Vedic Math - Alternate Perspective and Very Useful and Fast Calculations
Fractal/Chaos - Mental/Spiritual Insite from a Math Theory/Philisophical View
Sacred Geometry - Beauty, Deeper Understanding of "Natural" Math

You might want to learn and read up on the various types of Math Theory from a more philisophical perspective than a rigid Math one. It doesn't require knowledge of super massive formulas and mega high level math to enjoy it. In fact, it's usually the opposite.

I'm pretty sure you're not alone on that! I'd be happy to try and give you a hand, and I'm sure a lot of other ATSers would also love to help. It would help if we knew where to start, though. Let us know what level of education you are at in math and what specifically is giving you trouble. For example, are you a high school student struggling with trigonometry, a university student confused over calculus, a junior high student having trouble with algebra? If we start posting stuff about math that is either way over or way under your level of understanding, that isn't going to do any good. Feel free to u2u me or try and catch me in ATS chat if you are able to enter (need 200 posts).

Uh, I don't mean any offense, but I recommend that you find a nearby teacher's supply store and buy a Math text book that you like and read it on your own.

When you finish that, buy a copy of Algebra For Dummies and study some more. Just my opinioin, but I think it's a GREAT book!

By the way, all those fancy computer ledgers (like Excel or Access) that "do the math for you" make a whole lot more sense if you have strong Math skills!

hi mate, ok...yes you do need a basic grasp of maths but its a lot easier to understand maths if you can see some sort of way to apply it to real life outside of the classroom.

Just because your bad at maths doesnt mean your a looser.....my teachers told me at school i would never be a pilot because i couldnt do maths...hey guess what i fly planes now....(dumb loosers...people like that shouldnt be allowed to teach kids).

if you can imagine in real life your never going to be asked to work out 345.7 divided by 32.6 on paper...youll use a calculator.

bottom line is try and grasp it...dont fret if you cant......anything can be learnt....maybe speak to a private tutor...either way...dont get down hearted mate.

regards...and good luck.

Don't hurt me, but I like math. It's actually rather fun, I feel.

Take the advice here. Go find a book that you like and would actually read, then do it. Drill. Drill drill drill. A lot of math skill comes from just doing it, and knowing it. So do it. Don't learn how to do a problem, learn a concept. It's much easier to learn how something works and to go from there to each problem than to try and extrapolate the theory for each problem.

If you ever need help, u2u me. I'll be glad to offer a hand.
