What conspiracy?

"Revealing" the faked third vision as an event of 1981

uhmmm MattMariott, people go to apparition places with or without prophecies being revealed. They go because Mary showed up there at some point in the past. Those places are said to have healing powers, a lot of sick people go there, thinking God/Jesus/Mary will cure them, or they go simply because of worship.
When Vatican revealed the third prophecy, nobody thought that Fatima pilgrimage will stop, because the pilgrimage has very little to do with what the third secret is. Fatima is just one of many holy places.
