i dont understand why Congress wants to deny the womens right to fight for their country. I mean people complain women being discriminated because the jobs they are doing are "man" jobs. I see females doing a good job as much as male personnel can do. the female personnel should not be denied to fight and protect their nation even if it means endangering to themselves. aniways in a warfare where there are no frontlines, female personnel should be trained to be just like any other male soldiers train to go into combat, in case of situations where they found themselves under fire.

well, traditional the armed forces doesnt place women into a direct combat situation. and i think what the enemy will do to them when they are captured is another consideration. they will probably be raped repeatedly.

the Bush Administration and Congress are very aware that it is one thing to lose men in combat, but an entirely different matter when it comes to women. This country is divided right down the middle when it comes to this war. The numbers for supporting the war diminish with every death. You start putting up women casualties with a tear jerker human interest story tacked on for ultimate effect and public support will crumble.
