Allah sent giant spiders to help iraqi insurgency

This is an old one.
The "Camel Spiders" are big but not that big, it's a wide angle close up view that rather distorts the size a bit.

Yep, and this particular "photo" actually dates from the first Gulf War...

Then again, who already didn't know that jihadspun is about as reliable as the weekly world news?

You cant really use phones and GSM's - they are listened to and recorded.

You cant really use the Internet to send messages.

I guess Old School Techniques, that have proven themselves in the History, really Work.

They would not have put it on there and given it an award if it was photoshopped.

hehe - as we see this bird didn't bring any victory to insurgents - I suppose that they had trouble with understanding what that "sign" really mean - that bird was white so allah wanted to tell "give up as quickly as you can because even god won't help you"

Maybe it was Allahs way of saying what he thought of people sawing peoples heads off in his name.

you can use phones on a secure line and you can also use the internet to send messages that use secure connections.
Thats how i stayed in contact with my son.
Still, i like the idea of going back to carrier pidgeons.

I don't think that the pic is magnified, there's just very little to indicate size. Look at the hand in the upper right. You can see part of one guys hand, and its pretty close to the two spiders and pretty big. They're probably not much bigger than tarantulas and whatnot.

The claim that they are 'unknown' to iraqi before the Fallujan Episode is comical.

I'd be surprised if its a 'messenger pigeon' (since they're extinct any ways no?)

Its something called 'propaganda'. Just like saying 'Allah created giant spiders to fight the crusaders'.

Notice how the angered mobs, jump to saying it is faked and photoshoped, as an attempt to discredit me? even though they have no basis or proof behind what they say? I guess it's because they can't really say anything else, a picture speaks a thousand words.

For those of you are using the word "allah" in a derogetory sense. Please note that "allah" is just the arabic word for god. Infact christian arabs say Allah just as muslim arabs do.

I never said the dove came from god. I said i heard reports that white doves where helping the resistance, and that i belived them.

the worst part is how they "feed" on the camels. they inject a local anesthetic into the camels belly, then isert a tube like organ into the belly.....and dissolve the camels flesh and drink it up.....nasty nasty......

You think that's nasty, have you read about how fast they can move? OMG, they are a thing to be feared indeed.

awful things, a college of mine thoought it would be funny to catch a small one and keep in a jar (really bad idea), after a long debate on why he should release it he finally did.
He unscrewed the lid and threw the spider out! the spider landed on it's feet (no surprise there) then turn to face us all and jumped right towards the person who had it in the jar...... as you can imagine we all jumped with fright! because the hissing and screaming alone is enough to scare the **** out of anyone!

Since then we have all deceided to give these spiders a extra wide birth next time we pass one

My son said that he camel back will get about as big as your hand. He only saw one about the size of a silver dollar. Good thing too, shooting dry a 50 cal. at a spider would be frowned upon.
