good LORD! what a horrible thing. i'm curious............wonder if this attack would have occured if the person speaking out against the child marriages was a MALE..............

in some parts of india women are still very much 3rd class citizens. i just wonder if the man doing the chopping would still have chopped if the person protesting the marriages was MALE............

This kind of thing happens everywhere in the world, sword attcks I mean. Britain has had several sword attacks and deaths in the past few years.

I agree though, not nice to have to live the rest of your life with no hands.

I mean what can she do to the sword swinging madman? Is he not locked up? Are they going to cut his hands off surgically and graft them onto her?
