Why do we need this? Federal I.D's. This country is heading in the wrong direction. Does this go to the house next? I can't believe no one voted against it. How is this possible?

easy... it was tacked onto a military appropriations bill, that's how it got passed with no resistance... if you'd like to read about something VERY troubling that's buried in the Real ID act, check out arstechnica.com...
