Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons

Nuclear Weapons should not exist. They should be internationally outlawed. One country (i.e. United States) should not be allowed to have them, while another country (i.e. North Korea) isn't. Nothing but careless and petty, malignant destruction can come from the existence of these imperialistic-nightmares. Just their sheer existence -- advocates the potential for a launch and the cataclysmic detenation that would ensue. Prominent countries need to stand united and reach a Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaty. The countries who refuse to abandon Nuclear Weapons programs may need to be dealt with by force. I agree war is evil, so are many men. Nonetheless the overall goal should be the dismantling of every Nuclear Weapon and Proliferation program that exists. If there is no Weapon of Mass Destruction -- it can't be used.

i agree nukes shouln't exist. unfortunatly they do. it would be nice if we could get rid of them. but seriously with all of the "black projects" arround the world how could you be sure that they are gone? even if you could be sure that every single one has been destroyed, the knowlage on how to make them will still exist.

now at that point if someone built just a couple they could literaly hold everyone by the preverbial balls. where would they be? the world is a big place with many hidy holes. as things now stand it would take a madman to use them, as everyone knows that to launch just one is to ask for anialation. in this scenario only these couple exist. you don't know where they are or what delivery system will be utilized. how do you deal with it? there IS no counter launch. only one person has some. i guess you had better do as you are instructed. wow just think of all that power because only one person has a nuke.

that situation is only too real.as things stand i believe that there is material as well as some actual devices unaccounted for.do you know where they are?

i believe at this time such a move would be the wrong one. we are far better off in a stalemate where only a true madman will use them. the other is just asking for someone to step up to the plate owning the only ones and haveing instant controll. i guess in the above situation you could tell the person to go to hell and let possible thousands die. mabe even millions. far better to not have the ability of being held hostage because of disarmament. i know i wouldn't want to be amoung those responsible for createing such an opertunity for ransom. at least with the deturement there is always a chance at something happening. as to the other i don't think it would be an if but a when.
