Thank you Astro,
Actually I am on the fence, not either side. However mans impact on the planet is no doubt overwhelming as opposed to other species on the Blue
Marble. And our impact is more severe than autum leaves and clearly out of sync with what is commonly viewed as nature.
But on the other hand we also must be nature and our impact part of it
That being said

Fireweed
(Epilobium angustifolium)
Other common names for FIREWEED are "Blooming Sally" and "Willow Herb."
FIREWEED is an aggressive and robust perennial edible herb growing 2-7 feet tall. Sometimes thriving in spectacular dense patches, it is found in the
western United States and Canada from Alaska to Texas. Frequently it springs up soon after a forest fire, hence, its common name.
I made this photograph on Ektachrome film with a Schneider 120mm Super Angulon lens on a Horseman 4x5 inch view camera near Fairbanks, Alaska in July.
FIREWEED is usually a deep pink, but on rare occasions, one will see an almost white version. The flowering portion at the top of the plant does not
bloom all at once. By mid August, the very top of the plant is in full bloom. Although beautiful, around Fairbanks this usually means summer is about
over.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Although beautiful, around Fairbanks this usually means summer is about over.
Natives predict the coming of winter and the amount of snow by the FireWeed.
It is more than a month early this year, unlike last year.
And it is allready above 7-8 feet tall where I am. Last year it was 2-3 feet at tops.
It is said the height indicates the depth of snowfall.
I did not sleep last night, and watched the Sun Rise on my lake, Two Fish, and the heat of summer could be seen as mist rising, Summer is dying.
Cold Winter and Big Snow are coming.
Why?
Is it man or nature?
Only the Spirit in the Sky knows.
Not Dragons or Scientists or Astrcreeps!
Are you not a Human Being
