Over 50 killed at Iraq Kurdish office.

A SUICIDE bomber killed at least 60 people and wounded 150 more when he blew himself up at the office of a Kurdish party in the northern Iraqi city of Erbil today, a health official said.

The bomber blew himself up at the local offices of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which also served as a recruiting centre for police.
Witnesses said they saw 25 bodies being removed from the area.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party was one of two main parties in a Kurdish coalition that came second during polls on January 30.

Who would want to be involved in any role of authority in Iraq? I wouldn't, it would be like signing your own death warrant.

Maybe they have to rethink the procedure about gathering recruits and putting them in one big line, I would propose at least having the recruitment process take place in several days , using small groups...
