"From Gook to Raghead" - Article

I came across this article looking for something else, and the sad thing is, this stuff isn't even outrageous anymore. It's getting pretty obvious that some of our forces feel this way as well. Note SOME, not ALL, so please, no "you hate America" lame responses.

I mean, this guy says they were told that they were going to go "kill some ragheads." How is that acceptable? Breaking bottles over civilians' heads? Beating kids with Humvee antennae and kicking them in the chest? And these were sergeants and corporals! So much for following orders...

yeah dats how war goes, American soldiers don't like being Iraq as much as the Arab foreign fighters who cut off heads cause they aint accomplishing much Arab foreign fighters just dont understand Western culture where u are not suppose to cut peoples heads off. even the Europeans banned execution.

None of this is surprising. In war, racism, bigotry, and hate run rampant. It's been that way for millenia. Christians and Muslims alike demonized each other during the Crusades, the Axis powers of World War II were considered devils, the list goes on.

Although it seems like the Muslims have really gotten the worst of it.

Need to take into account the cource.
Aidan Delgado signed up just before 9/11.
He entered into the military on the hopes of gaining the monies from the bonus that he would receive for enlisting. He also wanted to make use of the college tuition that the military offers.
Once Mr. Delgado saw what had happened on 9/11, he realized that his one weekend a month / one week a year would be a much much longer stint. He then became a devout Buddhist.
So his dreams of an easy ride were destroyed. Now he is out to destroy the military members that are in Iraq.
There have been a few stories on him Soulja had a long running article about it.

If so, This is not the only accusation that Delgado has made. He has also stated that out of 30 Iraqi's that his troop killed, only 3 were armed. Mr. Delgado's "statements" actually were posted on Al-Jazeer.com

What Mr. Delgado says, I would take with more than a grain of salt. He has proven himself to be just about as reliable as Titor.

Kenshiro, rent F 9/11 and watch the extras, where the soldiers are playing with a captuered muslim guys dick. The reporter who got the footage even agrees that his isn't the only one, and doesn't know why Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, so forth don't show the footage they have. There are soldiers with "trophies", lining the men up on the ground and walking all over them, basic torture. Oh wait, I forgot, it's not torture, it's "basic" interrogating techniques. So, I go up and kick you in the groin then step on your head with a gun pointed at it I am "interrogating" you.

The same can be sad about all wars on both sides of the line.
All countires have thier share of roughing up the enemy.
Let's not stereotype here and assume that all American soldiers and Marines do this.

It just the few that make us all look bad, same as a few Islam loonies with bombs might make all Mulims look bad.

It's so obvious, this guy just wanted attention and he is all butt-hurt cause his short stent in Army did'nt go as he planned it.
He had to postpone college for a little while, He signed the contract.
Im not denying this really happened but I think his motives for telling were purely out of revenge for the Army not letting him have it his way.

that was the United Nations Fault and Saddams fault for the most part

The UN is all nations; and they are the ones who levy the sanctions.

Saddam raped the medicines and food coming in and barely anyone got any of either. Saddam was not a cool guy because he did this.

Saddam is mainly the responsible; he was so interested in building weapons that he make his people suffer.

Blaming everyone except Saddam for something Saddam did is rediculous.
It was Saddam who made those millions die. If Saddam would be nice and cooperative none of that would have happened. That is fact.
If Saddam would have allowed his people to use the medicine and food coming into his nation; none of those peopel would have died. that is as close to fact as anyone can get

believe me I cant wait until the People take the govt back from the corporate politricks; but i certainly wont allow someone to say we americans are responsible for the millions who died in iraq due to sanctions...the sanctions wouldnt have killed anyone; if Saddam didnt collect all the loot and hide it for his own use.

The sanctions killed a half a million before any loot start coming in.
Don't forget the OFF didn't start until 7 years after the sanctions started.

Back on topic, I think that in any war people are going to view the enemy with bias and picture their lives as though they are worth less than your own people because that's the only way you can kill them with a somewhat clean conscience. The racial stuff and general abuse doesn't surprise me at all.

I dont buy it. Even if its true...oh well...thats war...They should have thought about that before knocking down the towers. They should have thought about that before violating the sanctions. They should have thought about that before airing beheadings of CIVILIANS...

So, in conclusion......OH WELL.....to the victor goes the spoils....and the victor WILL write the history books....

If these people would just let us finish, we'd be gone...but they gotta keep stirring the pot...OH WELL......

Er, Iraq did not knock down the towers, or are you being racist about Arabs? Of course you are, if not, at least being racist towards Muslims.

Frankly, this kind of race or national hate is drummed into soldiers. How else do you get a sane rational person to kill another human?

This is exactley why I think any soldiers that have been involved in serious combat situations should be detained and rehabilitated on their return. Everyone is well aware of the mental complications combat has on a human, these poor guys are left to fend for themselves on many occassions as many have posted threads about here on ATS.

What are you supposed to call the enemy? Schnookums?

Yeah, Kriz, Spliff is definitely racist; it used to piss me off a lot. But, when you don't take him seriously, it's actually pretty funny. I'm just waiting for another gem from this guy...

I thought the Iraqi civilian population were the victims, err I mean benificiaries, of our "campaign of liberation". And that the "enemy" was a bunch of "foreign fighters" backed up by one or two locals nostalgic for the good ol' Saddam days?
