Ive heard about kids eating glue (thats gross) but wow ive never heard about getting high from bags before. you cant be serious! You can never guess what kids ocme up with these days!!

What are you talking about.......was that your kids the author is writing about? If they are then the answer is yes. Im asking how old the kids are that put bags over heads.

I don't see it that way. Aside from the last sentance this looks like a broad brush here.

The term for this behavior is "Auto-erotic Asphyxiation", many people practice it, and many people die of it, in fact some famous people have died of it, although I don't recall the name of the poor losers.

Kids will do anything to "get high", a decade ago in Brazil it was "surfing" the trains, many of them ending up fried like a chicken on a BBQ by the high-power lines.

Today in America, due to the astronomical cost of cannabis, its anything under the kitchen sink, and guzzling Robotussin DM, or gobbling up other cold medecines for a buzz.

Can you blame the kids? If they watch TV what do they see? "Swallow this pill and you can have sex with herpes", "Swallow this pill and your limp ding will rise instead of swing".
Look outside the High school by my house what do you see? A 40 foot billboard for alcohol, its been like that for over 20 years, different product everymonth.
Back before there were laws against it, it was cigarettes too.

Same deal goes for any magazines they read, filled with drug ads.

Hell 8 Million kids under 18 are on Ritalin, another 8 Million are on anti-depressants.

Michael Hutchence of INXS reportedly was one.
