Who Has Seen Their astral projected body double?

Sometimes I will let my mind wander and I can see my body double floating around.The other night I was writing on a topic and briefly paused and next I see my body double/astral projection coming right at me.I have had people freak out on me and say weren't you in this area at the time and I will say nope.But for the opened minded ones I just let them know its my body double.I see it floating around a lot especially when my attention is somewhere else.It's weird to see yourself floating around.I have seen my step dads body double too.Not as mind expanding when you see somebody else though.I like to see my selves its inspiring.To have your essence split a few times is something else.Well ATS members, feel free to write on your own experiences and others or mine.

I have traveled without my body. And I have been aware of others checking out my space while they were disembodied. But as far as a double of my body???? When I've been exterior, I still have only one body, and I'm very attached to that body. I'm very aware of it's suroundings, and have full sensory input from my body while I (astral project?) I have seen my physical self while in a non-physical state, but I don't think that would count as a "body double" because from my viewing point was not solid, as in a material form.

I've never heard of there being a such thing as an astral body double. However, I did have a friend who once had a spirit of some sort following him around that liked to mimic him in his house, only it wasn't able to get everything 100% right. A lot of times it appeared shorter, or a certain facial feature was out of place. It would copy him and do things that he did during his daily routine. It wasn't rare to find it pretending to be brushing its teeth in the bathroom, or just walking around the house pretending to be him. Maybe what you're seeing isn't an astral body double, but instead a sort of "copy cat" entity.

This is my energy body being projected out and yet I can see my energy body it looks just like me.I can see it in the physical as long as my attention stays put.If my attention goes somewhere else it is just a fleeting image.This is kind of like being in three places at once.

I can't beleive I'm posting this. I wouldn't believe in this 'branch' of the metaphysical - but it happened twice now.
I didn't try, it was spontanious both times. Both times, just as soon as I was 'aware' of what I was seeing - it was over.
I wish I could do it purposely.

I can, and have always been able to see peoples astral bodies following them around, still partially connected, but enough to wear I can see the astral "catching up" with the body. As for seeing a complete disconnection, I never have.

But I can relate to the focus aspect palpably. It is paramount to harness a spiritual peripheral focus when discerning such apparitions.
