in a former life, you died in a plane crash. So, when one is about to occur, (and during your unconscious state), you get the message, and it causes you to relive the crash? Meaning, you may be fusing elements of the current crash, with the reliving of yours?

My fiance' always dreamed of being on a ship and it sinking at night. She's still not keen on being near water at night, and get's panicked if she has a "drowning" sensation (like our Chihuahua trying to lick in her nose, hehe...)
