Jesus as we all know died for the sins of mankind. This is what Christianity is all about. The ability for someone to be "born again" is mutually connected to this idea.

If Jesus HAD to die for our sins, then why are so many Christians pissed at Jewish people. If infact this event was out of GOD's all mighty hands, shouldnt Christians in fact be thanking the Jews for this deed. Maybe not the Jews, but Pilate, Barabbas, Ciaphas, and the mob. Don't all these people deserve some kind of special treatment from GOD and/or Christians, and not be condemned for all of eternity as some christians might think/say (since they killed or led to the killing of Jesus). These people did GOD's work and without them Christianity wouldnt exist, now would it?

I've often wondered why the Jewish nation has been blamed for Christ's death. First, if Christ had not been crucified or killed by whatever method, Christ would never have "died for our sins". Prophecy would NOT have been fulfilled and, essentially, Christians would NOT have been saved. But perhaps I am wrong, after all I am not a theologian or a Bible scholar. Still Christ Himself summed it all up, in my opinion, when He said "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do". This is clearly a message that forgives the Jews, the Romans, Pilate or whoever was responsible for Christs' arrest, prosecution, torture and finally His death. Christ did not say "hound the Jews and the try to eliminate them from the face of the Earth for all time". NO, Christ told the world to FORGIVE THEM. But, like I said, I'm not a Bible scholar so if I'm wrong, please correct me.

I think it was actually God who killed himself. That should be worthy of some kind of respect from someone.

I would think that God killing himself, or his son, or whoever should call for some props from his peeps. What's up?

It's a sick, sick world we live in, isn't it?

Ther are many verses dealing with this.

1. God tells us that Christ was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. It was a done deal before anything or anyone even existed.

2. Jesus tells us no one took His Life from Him, He willingly laid it down and picked it back up again.

3. The Jews wanted Jesus dead, The Romans carried it out. Jews and gentiles, the 2 groups that make up the entire world.

4. Who killed Jesus, I did. His love responded to my sin. He took my place so I could live with Him forever.

You have to weave all these things together and you will have your answer.

For GOD so LOVED the WORLD...........

Because they don't understand the truth, and it's not only christians. We should thank God, that even though He knew we would turn on Him, He still made us and endured a cruel and torteousness death(physically, mentally, spritually) upon Himself so we could be forgiven.

People blame others, they think that if Jesus had never died we would be living a miraculous existance now. Plus some are looking for an excuse to rid the world of the existance of God.(most know the Jews were chosen for a specific purpose by God) Jealousy is probably part of it also. But noone needs to be jealous because God has opened up a much greater purpose to anyone that wants it, Jew or Gentile, through Christ.

They don't understand that Jesus came for this very reason, to die, and atone for sin. Once you understand that then there is no one to blame.

Still confused but will try to extend the subject. The ancient romans were "representative" of Gentiles of any age. People now can cruelly torture others. The point is all of mankind chose to have a part in the death of Jesus.

I pointed this oput before, but they don't listen. If not for Jews there would be no christians. Also, Judas didn't betray jesus, Jesus told him to get the guards for Jesus was turning himself in so he could die for sins and all that, yet Judas is evil? Yes he was paid, but police are paid, bounty hunters are paid, information leading to the capture are paid for, and so was Judas.

I think Croat is pointing to the freedom and rights the Romans had before the church took over and detroyed an empire in less then a week.(compared to the time the Roman Empire lasted centuries and then less than a week was dead when the christians took over) He is talking about how women weren't ordered to serve man and nothing more, that children weren't property of men, or that as a Roman as long as you didn't Rape/Steal/Kill go ahead and do it, until the church took over and again, dead in a week.

Read up on the council at Nicea 325 AD.
You are confusing christians with Roman catholics.

The roman catholic church was anti-semite from the start. Just read up on Nicea and you will see for yourself.

The RCC is the whore, Babylon from Revelation. It is not a christian thing.
Jesus Christ was Jewish. Christianity is Jewish + christ.

Christian - Christ = Jew.

How can Jesus Christ be anti jewish?

The Roman catholic church is responsible for much of the bad rap that Jesus gets.

Deny Ignorance. This is all part of the antichristian conspiracy

Those 3 links are about the Council of Nicea 325 AD.

This is where easter comes from also. Christians are suppose to have Passover like the apostles did, not pagan easter.

This is why in the bible it says
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."

Um no jake. We dont blame the jews anymore. Are you seriouse to think we were the only ones who blamed jews? And come on we all know the whore is the U.N.

Reading what Jake posted it looks like the RC is the whore, and the UN is not mentioned.

Also, they don't hate jews anymore, they just persecute them, still. Not to mention the Spanish Inquisition made famous by Monty Python and history. And that was just one case of the RC killing the masses.

If you put the RCC and the Roman Pantheon ...the gods of the roman empire, side by side... you will see that the RCC is just a continuation of the empire.

This is why Mary is being made a God since the 1800"s.
Go ahead, look it up. Find out when Mary became a permenant virgin.
The RCC did that since the 1800's.
When did mary became 'asended' like christ? 1800-1900's
When did mary become sinless? (all according to the mary ghost and RCC) Same

We are close to the end now.
When did evolution explode onto the scene? 1800's
When did the pagan olympics dedicated to the same gods that the romans and greeks had, make a come back? 1800's
When did zionism start? 1800s( the return of israelis to the mideast is in bible prophecy).

None of this is a coincidence. NOw you can be loyal to your belief in man made stuff, or you can look for the truth.

The truth is in the bible, not the rcc catechism

There was no anti-semetic decision made by the Council of Nicea 325 AD except perhaps the date of Easter). That started much earlier.
It is very interesting that you mention the Council of Nicea, though. You do realise that it is then that Christ became a god? Before that there were 2 theories:
1 that Jesus was created by God "The Father" out of the same substance (homo-ousion)
2nd that Jesus was a man, but endowed by God with divinity.
Also, it is in 325 AD that the cross became the symbol of Christianity.

Jake, you keep talking about the "Whore from the Revealation", saying that this horn represents this, this head represents this, this toe represents that, etc. While personally I think that all this symbolising is nonsense, you thought about something? What if those who believe Jesus is God are part of this "whore"? It would work very well with the bible verse you quoted, and your signature
