I take great pride in my posts and always check them for grammar errors, mistakes are made by everyone though.

well in school i always use proper english, but on the web to save time i just use short terms
cud
wud
b
b4
ne
etc etc

but i know there are some picky peeps so i try to use
could
would
be
before
any

i have more tolerance with people with problems with the english language when they are speaking. because this way i can tell whether or not they really have a problem with the language.

i don't have much tolerance for bad writing. i can't tell whether or not they are doing it on purpose or not.

Thank you for this topic. There are a few out there that are just plain IGNORANT. I too make a typo every now and then but PLEASE>>>>

Babe not Bab (seen this one about 100 times - at least "sound it out" if you aren't sure or go back to 1st grade)
Critisize not critisise

And dialectually speaking, the proper British spelling is indeed criticise.
