My mom gave me a book called The Alien Abduction Survival Guide. The Author is Michelle LaVigne, She claims she was abducted by aliens and became friends with them. She says that if you were confronted by one. You should think about a wall, shield or a force field to show safety. ANd when you see one DO NOT REACT VIOLENTLY. DO NOT TRY AND KILL THEM. they are our guests and treat them nicely. But what i think is that if they try and attack me i will attack back. Also in this book they talk about some other ET's
Halfling: a human alien hybrid
Our good old grays
Nordics: tall, light haired, unusaul colered eyes. They are seen with the greys
Reptilian: These guys are the BAD ones. They are associated with painfull and terrifying abductions

Do you guys think there are Halflings are real What do you guys think about this book on aliens. I like I read it twice

I can only assume that you read it twice because you wanted to laugh as hard as you did when you read it the first time. Alien Abduction is, perhaps, the one area regarding aliens that I just can't buy. As far as I am concerned, alien abduction is a psychological phenomenon akin to somnambulism, sleep paralysis and night terrors. Furthermore, no harm intended, I am compelled to ask whether your Mother has bi-polar depression. Is your Mom given to being a bit sensational in the hope of gaining attention ? I don't want to imply that your mother is crazy or something but, nevertheless, there are certain psychological and emotional states which can cause people to seek attention or misunderstand medical states and interpret symptoms, such as sleep paralysis, as something else such as alien abduction. As far as protecting oneself from abduction by "imagining" a shield or light, well that's not proven. Would an alien, who has traveled light years to abduct your Mom be twarted by her mental shield ? Would they stop an abduction, in progress, because of a mental thought that the abductee rather not go? Other abductees report that it was a most fearful experience. These are not benevolent beings who regard humans as anything more than a specimen of sorts. Before you waste any more time re reading this book, your time could be better spent having a nice conversation with your Mom. Share a cup of tea. Ask her about "familial tales". Go shopping with her. She probably is a very lonely woman who could use the genuine interest and attention from you.

Guests are INVITED.....

If they are abducting you....not invited....
They are trespassers and kidnappers.
Treat them accordingly in MY book...

Agreed.

If a complete stranger comes into your home uninvited, at any moment, he is an intruder. When you are intruded upon, it does not matter if the person is "benevolent" or not. Are you really going to take that chance? If it was a person coming into your house, you would not likely just "image a bubble around you" and hope for the best. Most likely you would react violently, or do whatever it takes to get that person out of your home, especially if you have children. If an alien wants to be my guest, he can call my house phone or at least knock on my front door.

If they're on our planet, they should follow our ways.

"Welcome to America. Speak English." Heheh.

"Accordingly" to me would be to break out the Winchester Defender, but what happens if at that point they start controlling my mind and make me turn the shotgun on myself? Maybe they'll have me shoot off my jewels or something.

Nah, it's too risky!!! I'd much rather have a sit-down with them over a few Jack and Cokes, nice and friendly like

Peace

Then with such mind control, they could have killed you before such reaction, if that was indeed their goal. Nor would they have a need to kill you once so controlled.

We can chat just fine while that Winchester is pointed at him, and he can explain how he can comprehend interstellar space travel, yet can't comprehend a frickin' doorbell...

EXCELLENT! I can't help but wonder if they are checking
us out as a food source or something. Heck .. we treat our
pets better than these alleged abductors treat us.

As far as 'do nothing' and 'make friends' ... from what I have
read, aren't people kinda frozen or something? They can't move
and they can't remember anything .. so how can they 'make friends'
if they aren't allowed to move while they are having painful
experiments performed on them?

Gazrok is right ... if I ever have a close encounter I hope it's while
I'm packing heat. My 9mil glock would definately tell 'em what I
think about their coming UNINVITED!
