MY Opinion About GOD

I think there is a heaven and a god some where up there because if there wasn't then who would have made this world?? I don't think it's right that people would say that they want to kill god!! EVEN IF IT'S A JOKE... some of you are thinking that I'm crazy but people need to think about miracles and how would they happen if god wasn't there watching you??? I just wanted to tell my opinion without getting YELLED at.

This is a forum site to share ideas and information so nobody should ever feel like they can't say something here, in my opinion that destroys the reason to have a site like this. So even is someone does yell at ya, who cares, don't let someone else do your thinking for you.

I don't go along with any one faith or religion, but do believe in God in my own way, which I won't get into explaining here. But I was wondering since you do believe in heaven, does that mean that you believe in hell also?

I think you misconstrued the posting you are upset about - it was meant for someone else. Futhermore, there are a lot of different beliefs of people who post here, from fundamentalist Christian to atheist. Do not be too upset about what some of these people post. Just keep the faith and PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM.

Yes, because if there's a god then there should be a devil. I know that sounds weird.

I'm just so upset about what the other guyz said about god..... she/he said that she wanted to kill god. I thought that was wrong so i posted what i thought... I take it i shouldn't do that anymore

Its Ok. In order to read half these posts you need to have an open mind and be really open to different ideas. Rememeber although you may think a certain way about certain things doesnt mean that anyone else but you would Think that way. Although you may have lots of friends who agree with you certainly not everyone will. Have a sun shiney day!!

sicodudet you did nothing wrong - you posted what you believed and that is right. It is that you read a posting that was meant for some one else and thought that the posting refered to you. You should read carefully - because sometimes these threads get jumbled up. The posting which seemed to disturbed you was directed to the starter of the thread. Also remember that there are people here who post some of the most virulent anti-Christian trash you will ever see. I can name a few names but stick around and you will figure out who they are. Do not let these people upset you - stay cool. They just love to post garbage to upset Christians. Don't let it get to you. Remember keep the faith - for the victory is already ours.

Many people today find it easy to blame others for their own lifes doings!
And I guess blaming God is their choice because it is He that they truly seek and because it somewhat makes them feel better .....

Ok, so by saying that since there is a God, there has to be a Devil. Is it safe to say God represents Love or Good or whatever...And that the Devil represents Evil or Bad, etc..??

That is confusing for me because:

1. If God is the Creator, why would he allow the Devil to exist?

2. Would that fact that the devil does exist mean that the devil has to exist?

3. If the Devil has to exist, why was it that God didn't create him to begin with, instead of it having to be a fallen angel?

I think that when you are not a Christian, you aren't trash as you have said so. I am not a Christian and I don't post religious things to upset people. I post religious topics so we can have a good, sensible debate.

maynardsthirdeye - did I mention your name as one who posts anti-Christian trash? No - I was refering to some other posters. Here again is someone reading a posting and not understanding what was written. What I said there are posters who post stuff that is basically anti-Christian rhetoric. Since you answered the way you did, then I must assume that you consider you postings as anti-Christian trash.

Tell ya what, there is a real easy way to hide being stupid even if you really are. First never help to convince others that you are, even if you think you may be. Second just don't say anything if unsure and always think carefully before you do.

I forget who it was that said it but there is a great quote: "It's better to be thought an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove it."

What are you confused about as far as my questions go? They are really just asking your opinion, no answer can exactally be proven beyond a doubt anyway..

You shouldn't think you're dumb either. I was just asking your opinon. If you don't have one because you've never stopped to ask yourself those kinds of questions that doesn't make you dumb either. Just say you've never thought about it, and you'll have to think about it first before you answer. Also, if I have inspired you to start questioning things and/or started you on the path of coming to your own conclusions instead of just trusting in what others say, then I am very happy I could help you out.
