UMBRAX!! where are you!?!?!?!?!?

Okay folks this is situation, Umbrax has gone missing , i hate to sound this desperate but the guy is awesome , he contributes to the forum like nobody's business. At first i just thought that he was on vacation or something. than today i finally snapped! so i started looking through all the old post of his, and also that of his fair maiden Scarab. Well long story short his computer went capute!! that's not good. See he's somebody that i reguraly B.S.ed with. It made my time here on ATS/BTS that much more enjoyable. But now things aren't the same. He used to post stuff on comics and also make these fantastic Comic Avatars www.belowtopsecret.com...

Not to mention the fact that the guy researched alot of stuff and posted very well. So I am starting this thread in his honor until I(or any other volunteers) can get him online. I plead with you all , Post here if you DENY HATE and are a fan of UMbrax!!!!!

Okay enough ranting and raving, I think i've embarrased myself already , but hey if it gets a quality poster like Umbrax back on its' worth it!

Just keeping this on Top people!!! Lets leave a warm welcome for the guy for when he comes back!!!!!:w:

I just posted something to his "comic book avatars" thread on the Member Artwork forum. I did notice that you (bordnlazy) have got a couple of posts up for him there that have gone unanswered as of yet. I do hope that everything is alright with him and that he comes back around.

I really like his work, and was really hoping to get something done up for myself! (yes yes selfish and self-centered thought there)

Anyway, hopefully he will return soon and see this and know that he was missed, and feel all warm n fuzzy n stuff.

I saw that he was online not so long ago, I miss talking to him in chat, haven't spoke to optimus in a few days as well, I miss our 'oh so serious' empire discussions....where are you guys?

Iris Shaw was a woman who was horribly wronged, and brought back by the crow to dispense a little justice. As far as I know, she was the first female character to take on the aspect of the crow in these books.

Oh man, anything and everything I can get my hands on? (including the backs of the shampoo bottles while I'm in the shower)

The contents of my bookcase range from sci-fi / fantasy to heavy political commentary. My favorite comics are Elfquest, though. That was the first series I ever stumbled upon, and it still just *does* something for me.

well i go in cycles, First books, then magazines , then comics then usually back to books (not including the hours i spend reading crap off the net!) I usually only read a book if someone personally recomends it or if the first 100pages interest me while i'm in the bookstore.


Right now i'm into comics, JSA,She-hulk, Cant' believe its not the justice league , Most of it funny stuff.

science magazines are my favorite (discover magazine ,its easy reading for thick-headed dudes like me)

I've never read elfquest though whats the basic premise?

hmm....lessee....

There's alot more too it than this of course, but basically you've got a tribe of sexy elves who ride wolves getting displaced from their beloved homeland and going in search of another?

There are more storylines, but that is where I started.

Don't know why, but I never was a big fan of stuff like the Hulk or Superman or Captain American or any of those more "mainstream" comics. I LOVE fantasy and horror, though.

you know neither was I , but for instance She-hulk is a comic that will have you cracking up from front to back, or if you pick up Formerly Known as the Justice leauge also very funny read. It doesn't give you that Nausea that most comic books do.

The Walking Dead is supposed to be a really great Horror comic out, i've been meaning to pick it up, but it slips my mind whenever i go to the ol' comic shop.

I never thought people would of really noticed I was gone .

I've got my mother-in-law's computer for a couple weeks. I probably wont be back in full force until I have my own computer.
While I'm here I will still try to hammer away at the dis-info and spread the great medium of comics
I have a lot of stuff in my brain thats been building up these past couple of months, so I hope I can get them all on to ATS before I have to go again.
