The Board is down for routine maintanance

What happened to the board there? It was only down for like 20 minutes but I was because I lost an entire post... *sigh*

The whole board was going really slow for about 15 minutes before it went down, that must have had something to do with it.

At least this time it wasn't a hacker.

i have a 4mb line & use opera. since the board came back up again i have noticed the pages taking a very long time loading any pictures. text is there but its sitting for minutes trying to load pics

Really, a 4 mb line? Sweet, so do I!

When I first got back on after pressing reload every 5 seconds (I wrote a script to do that so I could play games at the same time) I noticed it went really really really fast because nobody else was on. Then it sorta slowed down because more people logged back on.

Anyways I guess it was just temporary and nothing bad happened!

its actually slowing down very badly now - even pressing refresh makes it sit there for minutes trying to load properly hope it's not major problems

I thought it was going quite a bit slower before the maintenance. Now, it seems to be a lot faster for me. No complaints here

Well, I was awy from ATS for a few hours. This morning was very slow.
So, whatever happened, it's much faster now.

What an amazing job SO does to keep this board running smoothly
