President Rice or President Condi?

Dr. Rice, despite her doctorate, has encouraged people to refer to her as "Condi". What I'm wondering is, when she becomes president, what will she want to be called? All other presidents have been, "President [last name]". Will she be President Condi or just Condi, or will she want to be called President Rice?

I'm not sure...both sound fabulous to me!

Sometimes I refer to President Bush as George in casual conversation, so I'm already warming up to a Prez Condi.

If, indeed, she ever is elected President, I'm certain that protocol will dictate what she is formally called. Condi would not be very different from other casual Presidential appellations, such as, W, FDR, JFK, LBJ, Ike, Bill, Jimmy, and others.
