Ummm...sooooo...what are you saying...that some soon to be canned...LAFD POI accidentally lit the fires to keep their jobs...?

Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened...

A sideways sort of...burn back...back burn...

Curiouser...and conspiriacer...and just slightly coincidental...

The state of California is actively collapsing. California government is very corrupt. The U.S. government is very corrupt. Where California goes, the nation follows. I would prepare accordingly.

The US is slowly imploding.

Slowly, then all at once.

How so...electricity doesn't come out of thin air...and they barely have enough to service the state as is on a good day. Its the only state in the union that experiences regular brown outs...

I don't think it's the whole state the planners are thinking about with their smart City model. They will be catering to Big Business, like Google and Silicon Valley, and now they've got a lot of clean slate to work with.

Check out the PDF I linked if you need a little more clarity on how fortuitous this fire is for the future plans of the state; it'll cut years off from obtaining their goals.

First let me say that as a lifelong Californian and former democrat, I don’t think the call from many that we continually vote for this is helpful or particularly true.

For instance if you take a look at the 2024 prez election, California would be similar to the whole of the US. Whereas other states are bogged down by metropolitan politics and policies, the whole Golden State is too that way. Ruled by coastal money and influence.

My heart goes out to those in the Southland and greater LA Basin. This sh!t is truly horrifying and absolutely tragic. And certainly some blame is sure to be placed on the voters, but all the way to the top of state politicians and unhelpful progressive policies too. Perhaps Federal as well. Now we have reports of active cartel looting and arson operations, an impending food shortage, and so many lives affected and have lost everything they spent their lives struggling to achieve and hang onto there. It will take a generation before we get any actual clarity or improvement to these situations and the laws and policies that make the state the way it is.

I’m hoping for a sea change here. And unfortunately this hellacious firestorm may just be the straw that does it.
