Radio, what's new? Radio, someone still loves youuu!

One of the most treasured things I just can't throw away is an old radio alarm clock from my childhood. Many nights I'd lie awake and listen to the airwaves. The best sleep one can ever have.

Anybody remember Dr. Demento? I totally forgot that was part of my weekly routine as a kid! Youtube finally got one right when it recommended to me this blast from the past by Weird Al. And for fun here's a few other of my favorite Demented radio staples.

This was one I always remembered. Sorry for the ear worm...

Oh Hell yeah I remember !! Use to stay up and wait for The Dr Demento Show.

He's 83 and still going. His show is online now.

Well, this is a relief. I saw this thread listed and though it had to be his home and record collection burned in the California fires. They almost did years ago.

The Dr. Demento show was a riot. Like most musical genres, the novelty song genre runs the gamut from terrible to brilliant.
