Elon Musk is poking and prodding against the EU control apparatus, bringing an alternative perspective to our brothers behind enemy lines. In his role as the snarky Toyko Rose of the modern social media interface, free speaking Americans -together with our comrades in Russia- can well enjoy Musk’s EU provocations.

We smell the musky odour of planned civil war. The obvious is being stated as if it's new.

I don't think a civil war is feasible if most of the citizens no longer have guns.

So are you implying that all the police force and armed forces would suddenly become bootlickers for the government (multiple idiots in suits) and start killing fellow UK residents, friends, family , frineds of friends, young or old? I think the biggest worry for the government would be the vast swathes of rebelion from said forces.
I just dont see that as happening, so if its a fight between politicians and the populace, i'd back the populace to win with pointy sticks and harsh language everytime.
They want those who understand 'there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing' to show themselves, and take emotionally manipulated action.
Ms Jones said people leaving military intelligence roles in the Armed Forces were the "kind of people" the police would want applying for the direct entry roles into the College of Policing.
The Government has extended a recruitment drive to hire 1,150 specialist police officers to work in ROCUs until 2024 so it can fill the remaining 850 posts.
