Approximately 7% of UK population is Muslim.
At least 18% of the UK's prison population is Muslim.
As far as I can tell the imprisonment rate for foreign nationals is 27% higher than it is for British citizens.
If people aren't extremely concerned by these sort of figures then there must be something seriously wrong with their thought process.

There was a report released at the weekend that put migrant crime as two to three times higher rate than natives and that's only the people they caught rather than actual crime stats.
EDIT: I was wrong - it's 350% higher for rape but the article is behind a paywall.
Foreigners three times as likely to be arrested for sex offences as British citizens
Albanians are the highest offenders followed by Afghans, Iraqis, Algerians, Moroccans and Somalians
Non paywall link but it is the Mail so not the best source of info
Foreign nationals are more than three times as likely to be arrested for sexual offences as British citizens, analysis suggests
I think the Mail article has a few errors in stats as the stats are per 100,000 but the article mentions per 1000 in the table breakdown of nationalities - britons have a rate of 48 per 100,000 while Albanians have a rate of 210 per 100,000 which is 437.5% higher rate or nearly 4.5 timnes higher offending rate.

The analysis comes from an anti imigration think tank, that doesn't mean it is wrong but it's not clear if any adjustment made for demographics etc.
My British grandmother, Cora Amelia Robinson, was an important part of my childhood. She was very strict, but also kind and I could always count on her.
She grew up very poor in England during the Great Depression only to be bombed in WW2. To earn money for food, she cleaned houses, leaving me with a lasting respect for those who do so.
My Nana was one of the poor working-class girls with no one to protect her who might have been abducted in present day Britain.

How could Ed Davey stop the situation? He's never been part of the UK government
Except when he was part of Cameron's coalition government.
