The certification takes place four years after a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol and many Trump allies in Congress objected to certifying Joe Biden's win.
Security is heightened after four years ago, but snow might be a bigger threat.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the missile test underscored the need to deepen U.S. cooperation with South Korea and Japan to deter an emboldened Pyongyang.
Tomorrow is January 6th. By law tomorrow is the day that a Congress is required (as stated in the U.S. Constitution) to meet in a joint session and count Electoral Votes to certify the Presidential election. That means, we are going to likely see the House and the Senate certify President-elect Trump’s victory.
BUT! What you might not realize is, after what happened on January 6, 2021, Congress CHANGED THE LAW to make sure there was NO confusion and NO wiggle room when it comes to how lawmakers certify those electoral votes.

They were punched, tackled, tased, and attacked with chemical agents that burned their eyes and skin.
Today, I am thinking of the officers who still bear the scars of that day, as well as the loved ones of the five officers who lost their lives in the line of duty as a result of what happened to them on January 6, 2021,” Garland said.
