Now if this were normal Flu... would people be flocking to the Hospitals in their droves??

Hope it's not another bat virus!

Chinese Officials are saying it's just Flu... but look at the videos and photos in the links below:

www.dailymail.co.uk...

Maybe people are just scared because of the COVID thing??

I dunno but I don't want to catch another Flu bug this year... the one I had last year was bad enough.

To be fair the Chinese gobble up much of their government’s propaganda and when it comes to Covid it was applied very liberally.

The compliance through fear has a side effect in that people can become fearful of anything or extrapolate those fears. Like how you still see a few wearing masks even today. Absolutely fried.

So seeing droves of Chinese being scared of any illness makes lots of sense to me. They have been well conditioned.

Jan6 is going to be E.P.I.C. 😄

china is where lots of virus pandemics and epidemics throughout history originated, so you shouldn't be too surprised by this.

I bet nothing of consequence happens during the transition of power.

Even the media has been relatively mild for Trumps entrance compared to his first term.

Edit: if anyone truly believes he doesn’t, I’d got throw down $100 on poly market, would win you about $7k.

Like by design it all falls together for 2025. I today have my tinfoil hat on:

- SK president impeached and holdout, meanwhile NK and Russia tag up closer
- Pakistan and Afghanistan
- Israel & Iran
- Syria situation
- German government collapse
- Italy offering help to Germany -the irony! but is true and sad.
- Austrian government collapse
- Bitcoin on all time high (money)

Now this.

I got slammed with a ‘flu’ like I haven’t had in umpteen years or more. Even the thought of moving hurt. 2 and a half weeks later, I still have a little junk respiratorily I’m trying to cough out. Whole family had it, I probably got hit the worst. Not normally the case. Seemed to be a smorgasbord flu.

Just a note to add: I tested positive for COnVID once in our weekly testing for work during that time. The test had to tell me so though.

My thoughts exactly. It kicked my asstronaut. The weird thing is, I never technically had a ‘fever’. My temp was up, but was only ever at like 99.8 or so. But my body was freezing. I had jackets and blankets and was still freezing. Like the third day, during the evening, like someone flipped a switch I suddenly had to rip off my clothes. It felt like I was going to spontaneously combust. And was sitting for a bit without a shirt on, until I got around to taking a shower. After that, was a weeks worth of no appetite and other stomach issues and lingering coughing etc.

None of the Chinese people I know in China believe anything the government says, and I know a lot of people there including in-law relatives and at least, that's what they say lately. They're mostly ignoring this 'whatever it is' and going about business as usual. The gov there hasn't yet tried barricading people in their apartments like last time, so that's a plus. (As far as i know).

the really, really important thing to know, is if there is a new engineered virus, IT DID NOT COME FROM THE ENGINEERED CHINA VIRUS LAB A FEW HUNDRED FEET FROM WHERE THE FIRST CASE WAS FOUND. It's raycist to suggest things like that.

Or did we collectively find some common sense along the way?

Some do and many would, it's true. But last time when they got unannounced barricades locking them in their apartments, the authorities got television sets thrown down on them from 15 floors up, and some got hit. So the gov backed off and halted doing that. People were pissed and angry mobs started forming.

Because of the internet the gov didn't have any of their armed jackboots show up to do any nasty stuff. The big firewall of China is not good enough to stop bad news from getting out. So the gov just stopped doing anything and went silent. Unlike here in the USA the Chinese CCP doesn't want (more) bad publicity. Here they don't care as much.

Your assertions have been very acurate, kudos to you. Looks like Gaetz didn't release the #metoo list, very disappointing..you called it. I am inclined to disagree with you here knowing full well your track record is very good. Since Trump decided to run I have thought the dems, rinos, intel agencies and legacy media would do everything they could to stop him and it sure seems like they've tried. Why would they stop now? I am going with chaos. If Trump sails into office with nothing of consequence happening then great, I will be happy and surprised.

I keep meaning to wear a mask when I've got a bad cold or suspect I have the beginning rumblings of the flu, but it slips my mind every time. I think that's good form. That's one thing I appreciate about Asian countries.

Masks for fear of catching something is stupid. It won't work, and it must suck to live in fear. Masks to stop yourself from spreading the sick as easily is considerate.

Damn, I'm inconsiderate when I'm sick.

I don’t think they really wanted to stop him once Biden and Harris fell apart.

He’s playing ball now.

They could have got him with the felony charges, they could have stopped him with other BS. The media is mild, the dems are honestly mild (aside from crazy pundits whose only niche is outrage).

Here’s the deal, on one hand, Trump is just a tiny bit more tame and refined this time around. And on the other, he’s normalized. The shock value is gone, people kind of know what to expect, it’s no longer an unknown quantity. That’s why I don’t think we see any real resistance.

I don’t think he’s a great choice, but he’s better than Harris, so I’m not unhappy. That said, for those that love him, I hate to say it, but I think we see softball.

He doesn’t have to get re-elected. He can do as much or as little as he wants. I think he plays it safe and keeps the fan base and legacy.

Edit: usually my perspective is mild and boring all things considered. I usually lean towards nuance which gets misunderstood as centrist. The way I see things play out isn’t the way I want them to play out, it’s just my guess. I’ve tried to be more agnostic, because at any given time, I have money riding on it with investments. So I rely on being unemotional.

That said, I’ll shake things up and give a crazy prediction which I rarely do. This is very speculative, but I think Iran gets hit hard in the next three months.

Israel took out the SAMs surrounding the nuclear installations in Iran in retaliation to the hypersonic missile barrage. But, Israel couldn’t do a wide spectrum campaign then because they need to refuel their bombers in air, which wasn’t as possible before.

With the fall of Syria, Israel hit Syrian anti air defense and other military assets. That whole area is in play, and they can loiter with refueling planes in Syrian airspace with minimal risk. They’ll be able to conduct bombings with F-35 and F-16s now with or without US help.

Weakening Iran would be a blow to Russia, and that broader alliance. With all the chaos, I don’t see why Trump would protest. I even read Biden got plans handed to him by advisors on how to strike Iran to prevent their nuclear program. It seems to be pretty bipartisan, and with recent terrorism scares domestically, if we find a way to proxy this it may not be hard to sell.

This to me is a far more likely scenario that could turn into a blemish against him than “another manufactured virus”.

But that’s not to say it’s purposeful, more or less happenstance. If we’re being realists, there’s chaos and crisis for almost every president.

I’m a coin flip in confidence on this one since it’s a stretch.

Why does everything in the World have to involve Trump in the discussion and indeed even the US?

This thread is about a new Flu/Virus in China
