Chief Justice Roberts Ends Year With Defense Against 'Illegitimate' Attacks on Judiciary

In his year-end report, Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. warned that the judiciary has become a target for violence, intimidation, disinformation and defiance.

Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. addressed four "illegitimate" types of attacks on the federal judiciary in his year-end report Tuesday, closing out 2024 with a sober warning of the perils facing judicial independence.

Roberts' nine-page letter sounded the alarm about the increase of threats of physical violence against judges and admonished public officials for disparaging statements about courts that "may prompt dangerous reactions by others."

seeing how dem ones can become unhinged it might be a legitimate concern.

We are seeing that some assassin's are actually cool (fashionable to kill a healthcare CEO you know?). Is the brown shirt mode for antifa in full flight? Time will tell, but I would guess that it is.
I do not feel any empathy or sympathy with antifa, but I do see them as a special kind of mass duping.

On the left there is always this bizarre attempt to pull the psychotic into their tent. And brazenly too. If my memory serves me right when they were doxing these judges and protesting outside their homes, our media didn't really think that it was that big of a deal, did they?

Democrats become unhinged on a large scale when they have an enemy, and a leader who can ignite their emotions.

As we head into 2025 Democrats are realizing Republicans are not their enemy, and they no longer have anyone worthy of being their leader.

Over the past 8 years, Roberts has sided with the conservative majority on almost every significant issue. As you know, there are always exceptions where a conservative justice sides with the liberals, and vice-a-versa.

Roberts is not worried about the criminals who have been given "a free pass", as you put it. Those type of crooks like judges.

Well, gee. John didn't seem to have a problem with "violence, intimidation, and disinformation" when it was the government doing it to the American people. This is the same guy who said the US government can legally torture people and keep it secret. This is the same court that says it's OK for cops to steal your money, lie to you, and violate your Constitutional rights.

Now he's worried about "violence, intimidation, and disinformation?" Well, welcome to the world you helped create, buddy. Now you know how the rest of us feel. Except the rest of us don't have bodyguards.
