The car parked up the hill in the deadliest of warm winters led to The Silent Motion, the motion of hills with no sounds, tires holding the pavement. The silent snow that filled the windshield. Silent sunlight burning away the ice.

The beautiful new mom walking her newborn up the same hill led to The Silent Motion, the motion of jogging shoes with no sounds, the baby carriage squeaking in silence. Pavement of cracks slips time. Silent workers sending love to the Earth.

A stranger from time heading into dark time from a hot ocean led to The Silent Motion, the motion of waves with no sounds, warm water pulling and giving off tides in silence. He’s riding on a steamboat of pure silence. The silent moons undertow.

A heart from time beating new tunes in her body made from love led to The Silent Motion, the motion of the blood pumping in silence, the walls of this heart beating for 69 years of tunes only she could hear. The birds chirping in silence.

The love for this world is The Silent Motions we all create…
