This one hurt. I thought real highly of Jimmy, his Nuclear and Peanut background, and all he did for Habitat for Humanity.

I salute and grieve his passing.

A Great and Humble man.

he wasn't the best president, and the 2nd worst president.

There are presidents who helped us get into unneeded and costly wars. Those wars have American soldiers killed, and untold cost.

Johnson did more damage to America than Carter did.

I could see an argument for Carter being one of the worse peacetime presidents, but it’s beyond me how some people rank best vs worse presidents. I feel like it just comes down to vibes for some.

I agree with President Carter that abortion is wrong and the government should never have anything to do with encouraging it. He felt it was immoral, a failure, and a mistake.

RIP

100 years old.

I would have been 3 when he took office.

By all accounts, not a bad fellow as far as I'm aware.

RIP Jimmy Carter.

And he was a rare president that witnessed a UFO event and filed a report!

en.wikipedia.org...

At first they tried to blame it on Venus rather than a UFO flying above the ármán line.
Carter was a submarine commander with considerable connections in the Navy but we never got the story about that?

So strange his death came shortly before the X-files episode "Deep Throat" in the rerun line-up.
I think he wanted to be remembered, but you know it was so esoteric and what with the solemn funeral and all maybe we should just let him take it to the grave?

I'm sorry, I have no idea what you are referencing. I'm familiar with X-Files, but can't remember each individual episode or what 'it' is that I'm assuming, Jimmy Carter knew.
Sorry to be a pain, could you briefly explain please? Appreciated.

Jimmy Carter UFO incident.

"Deep Throat" in the show "The X-files" was the character that occasionally assisted Mulder with information and led him down the garden path so to speak.

I think it had something to do with his stint in the Navy from 1945 to 1953 including the USS Pomfret SS-391.
He would have known Grace Hopper however there were never any media reports linking the two.
It was Ronald Reagan that did the photo ops with Grace Hopper, her bio claimed she had trouble enlisting in the service.

The UFO should have been seen by tens of thousands of people in the area January 6, I always thought it was kind of strange that Jimmy filed the report?

As a world leader he had so many accomplishments to be remembered for, that UFO encounter probably isn't worth remembering except on a UFO site like ATS with our demographic, certainly never even observable on a site like "Deny ignorance".

Jimmy Carter was a well-intentioned president who aimed to clean up Washington's corruption, but was hindered by poor advisors and a lack of transparency. Like Trump, he faced a "swamp" in DC.

Too bad people back then didn't have the internet and alternative media to get the real story, they were totally misled about him

At 2:47 in your video Stan Friedman is quoted.
He worked or was spokesperson at the Idaho base that was the location for the X files *episode* D4 Throat.

They referred to that X-files base as Ellen's field or Ellen's Air base potentially inspired by the Ray Bradbury character played by Barbara Rush in 1953.

From the X-files transcript of the episode named after the character talking to the owner of the FLYING SAUCER Diner.

ZOE: F-15 Eagle pulling about Four G's. Those boys think they are such hotshots. Get a few drinks in `em, you'd think it was them up there flapping their wings.

Deep Throat

Mostly submarine propulsion technology developed out there at Stanton's base after 1947 although he once talked about the nuclear plane engine that is stored on the fenced asphalt lot.

What if Jimmy Carter reported some kind of Sci Fi time warped technology revealed to him in 1953 that became operational in 1969?

Sounds like something along the lines of "Project Looking Glass" or the "Montauk Project".

So you might like this "The Why Files" episode.

The Steven Greer UFO with the pre and post Rorschach nuance only worked within just the right context.
Hard to believe Arbitrageur could actually read that.

The official cover story for the Jimmy Carter UFO said it was just Barium.
At 152 KM altitude traveling on a sounding rocket from Eglin that would have been seen by way too many people.
The paranoid CIA silenced Jimmy and wouldn't let him disclose what he saw.
It is as though they were surrounded by enemy ships with radio detection hardware that could detect a heart beat.
The only person who would see the UFO was going to be Jimmy looking through the periscope.

Its first and eighteen at Frank Black's castle and Jordan ain't coming to watch with him.
