Everytime I log into X I get a different spread of b.s. I didn't sign up for, mostly Elon Ego Circlejerks and stupid "polls" from fake accounts.

Like I've said elsewhere onsite...I signed up to follow my State Legislators and Senators and Governers, a few notables in Washington and Official Press Briefings, and all Ol' Muskys "supergenius" algorithm shows me are stupid grade school IQ tests and photos of steak dinners with sides and no forks.

It's absolutely inane and I usually just use it to blow off steam and post my own brand of weirdness.

I thought about signing up for TruthSocial just to get updates from Trump next term but they wanted my phone number and to send me "notifications" as par for the course and the last time I signed up with a Political Service locally it degenerated rather quickly into little more than endless emails, texts and SPAM to "donate now" and I'm too old and too broke to fall for that one again.

I really should pay more attention to my signature line and get a more worthwhile hobby.
