NYPD’s top cop Jeffrey Maddrey abruptly resigns after allegedly demanding underling perform sexual favors — including ‘kiss his penis’ — in exchange for overtime.

The NYPD’s highest-ranking uniformed officer abruptly resigned late Friday night after The Post uncovered explosive allegations that he demanded sexual favors from a subordinate in exchange for massive amounts of overtime.

Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey stepped down soon after The Post contacted the NYPD about Lt. Quathisha Epps’ claims in an exclusive interview that he routinely preyed upon her, asking for sex in NYPD headquarters.

“He wanted to have anal sex, vaginal sex, oral sex,” Epps said. “He was always asking me to kiss his penis.”

Maddrey, a close friend of Mayor Adams, will be replaced on an interim basis by Chief of Patrol John Chell, the NYPD said.

Former NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey’s alleged years-long sexual abuse and exploitation of women on the force was an “open secret,” according to police sources and accusers.

At least two other department women have accused Maddrey of wrongdoing.

“He’s a predator,” a police source, who works at the NYPD headquarters, told The Post of Maddrey. “It’s an open secret. Everyone knows who he is.”

Even the NYPD "Internal Affairs" department was ignoring complaints from women at NYPD about Chief Maddrey's behavior.

The head of NYPD Internal Affairs, Chief Miguel Iglesias, was forced out today.

If the internal overseers of NYPD personnel are corrupt, officers and personnel with the department are pretty much at the mercy of their boss's whims.

I remember how afraid and intimidated police officers were of "Internal Affairs", in the various NYPD T.V. series.

This entire New York City mayor and police saga makes it easier to understand how Trump-haters Governor (Kathy Hochul), Attorney General (Letitia James), District Attorney (Alvin Bragg), and judges Arthur Engoron and Juan Merchan, can be corrupt so easily.

It also makes it easier to understand how Governor Cuomo could murder hundreds of Seniors by introducing Covid-19 into their systems, without being brought to justice for doing so.

Bottom Line: Corruption and Evil is endemic and pervasive in New York State government. From TOP to BOTTOM.

I don't think police officials are sent to the same prison you and I would be sent to. This Chicago police captain was convicted of torturing and framing men for crimes they didn't commit. But he walked out of prison 7 years after being put there.
