Labour's Anti-Corruption Minister Named in Bangladesh Corruption Court Papers

Labour's Economic secretary Tulip Siddiq also happens to be the niece of Bangladesh's former prime minister Shaikh Hasina who just happens to be being investigated for corruption in relation to embezzlement of billions of Pounds from the construction of a nuclear power project in Bangladesh.

Unfortunately for Tulip Siddiq Sky news has seen the court papers and she is named along with her aunt along.

Labour's anti-corruption minister has been named in court documents detailing claims her family embezzled billions of pounds from a nuclear power project in Bangladesh.

Economic secretary Tulip Siddiq - who holds responsibility for financial crime and illicit finance - is alleged to have helped co-ordinate meetings with the Russian government regarding the Rooppur nuclear power plant project.

In a court writ seen by Sky News, submitted to the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Ms Siddiq is named alongside her aunt, the former prime minister of Bangladesh Shaikh Hasina.

The documents cite an online news report from August and suggest Ms Siddiq received embezzled funds that came from the artificial inflation of construction costs of the power plant - which was mainly funded by the Russian government.

It's alleged that $5bn (£3.9bn) was siphoned off from the project's budget "in collusion with Russian officials".

Tulip has such a sweet smile,like butter wouldn't melt..
However-Her Aunty had to escape her position as PM of bhangladesh-and leave the country- after 100s of her political opponents were rounded up,tortured and/or dissapeared by the security services on her watch..

We can't blame poor Tulip for that though-Yet Tulip has previously gone on about how her Aunty was the biggest influence on her growing up,and is a wonderful example of a "strong woman" and great leader..

All that was of couse public knowledge before Starmer appointed her as the Anti financial corruption boss,which suggests to me that we are waaay past the Twilight Zone here in the UK.

It really is something every day!
On the plus side,stuff seems to be getting worse-so one day,hopefully soon-they are going to do something so bad,that even their own party won't be able to take anymore,and they will call for new leadership(hope not crazy ange or milliband).

The WASPI backlash yesterday shows us there are many in the party who are agahst with the situation.
Just wait until the recession hits and all the car factories close!

On the 9th of July 2024 the newly elected British Prime Minister gave a speech declaring a hard road ahead for the country to correct the economic wrongs of the past years.

Following analysis it can be revealed the video was a manipulation and Starmer actually declared "I dont give a **** I dont give a **** I dont give a **** You're the Servants now"

As a working class graduate of the "Four legs good, Two legs double the bubble" school of law, Starmer is well equipped to make good on his comitments.
