Ever wonder why we only hear about school shootings in the US and not other countries?

It's going to take a lot more than an armed security guard in schools when imo...the perps have a deathwish anyway as evidenced by the one at Abundant life Christian School.

But at least an armed guard is well worth the entire $30k a year if he/she only saves one life. Start now!

Maybe because US press do not report. There are school shooting in Germany and other countries of Europa. In less developing country, when school is priviledge, you do not hear this.

In this countries, children do not dislike school so much. They know it is need for survival. Is only in developed, 'less-worry' countries. What do someone on the discord say to me: 'Idle hand are devils tool'.

Is too evidence that is not connected with gun law. Our gun law is heavy strict and school shooting happen. Someone want to do, they find way.

The common denominator is MENTAL HEALTH and drugs (prescribed and not).

They need more psychiatrists and more profiles.

I bet more kids played with guns a few generations ago. Were they shooting up schools like we see today? Is it by design?

When I was in HS, we had a gun club...Back in the 70s if you saw a pickup truck, you also saw guns in the back window. I never touched my dad's guns unless he was with me because I would have gotten my ass wiped good. Different times indeed...

Today, we have a good number of parents that just suck on the levels to manage their kids. They lose the Alpha position and kids just do what they want. My one son got bullied one day for being half Asian and I instantly went to the school and talked to the principal, I'm a boomer who had kids in my 40s so I'm a little straightforward. The principal called the parents and said if this happened again their kids would lose their privilege to ride the bus and so they would need to take them to school each day. That fixed it quickly, but I monitored it all for the rest of the year with the idea if anything else happened I would deal directly with the parents.

Today there is too much of this...the kid was picked on for years, has been on anti-depressants for years, is isolated in their rooms with the door locked, has full access to the internet with zero parental oversite, and talks back to their parents treating them with a mountain of disrespect, and the parents let them do it all.

Parenting and raising children with a set of moral values is much easier when at least one parent [with a set of moral values] is in the home to actually raise them. But...

Both parents need to work to make ends meet and when they get home it's time for beer and Netflix 420 relax time.

Essentially kids now days are raised by their peers and information they get from the www on their phone, tablet, laptop, gameboy, etc.

Granted that people to stupid to use their turn signals when driving, have no business raising kids. Sadly that seems like most everyone!!

First put a Stop to bullying!
they turn a blind eye and some teachers do it.

And they use it to make Strong people!!
a Boss will bully his workers to work long hours with no over time.
guess what he was at school?

Learn how to use Psychiatric medication!
so many things They do that Send people over the edge.

And some times the FBI CIA use it to make people brake.
so they can say Look we need more control.

And the bigest is they are all stupid and/or dont care.
8B people who care if a lot die or kill.

They have biden and harris run america.

After spending 30 years in the pharmacutical runaround with various doctors always pushing new drugs on me with horrible side effect like my heart stopping, my condition worsening, suicidal ideation and far, far worse, I propose we return to Psychoanalysis and Counseling over just pumping these kid full of drugs that can actually make the situation much worse than before.

A lot of kids are coming from broken homes, extreme pverty situations and so forth....just because a child acts differently doesn't mean it's an automatic shot of benzos or SSRI's....yes, in most cases they can help, but, like I said, it can actually worsen some childrens mental health and it's exceedingly case dependant.

I read a Yahoo article today that the Young Girls Fatehr was being questioned, and that she her Mother was out of town working at the time of the shooting.

I'm still watching the situation unfold, but whatever influenced this young girl was Demonic in nature. It may have been voices on high repitition or something to that effect. She may have been diagnosed with a condition, or she may not have gotten there yet.

If the Young Lady in question was indeed Schizophrenic or Schizoaffective, she may have been opened up to all sorts of variables that are drug resistant....and the fact that this shooting occured at a Christian School does not surprise me in the slightest.

Very unfortuanate and my heart breaks for the tragic loss of life.

So mental health issues only affect American teenagers ?

Do other nations teenagers not have issues with mental health , I think if using the term ‘common denominator’ perhaps you should then not follow it up with something that affects teenagers globally
