ON TOPIC, this trilateral is very good news. When you see Trump talking to zelensky it means he's taking the necessary steps to de-escalate.

Zelensky has been a bad boy
I hope Trump is telling Zelensky any monies or military supplies/weaponry you receive from now on I will be taking back Jan 20th. We are going to put an end to the war and Ukraine is going to have a presidential election.

Abi-lateral meeting between Trump and Macron, then they call in Zelensky to rake over the coals and tell him what he's gonna' do next.

Very good point, I agree. Zelensky doesn't really have a say. Pretty funny when you think of it-you could almost say uni-lateral, as Macron's France is in bad shape and as evidence by the Alpha handshake. Trump, inspite of Bidens efforts to destroy the US, Trump is holding all the cards and has all the leverage-Power.

Macron invited Trump because he respects his leadership

I'm not sure western world leaders 'respect' Trump as much as they fear him. He's survived his learning curve and plans to get down to business this time around, which seems to present a HUGE threat to the traditional rules of the political game.

RE: www.cbsnews.com...

How can Biden keep sending Billions of dollars to Ukraine whenever Zelenskyy asks for it, without getting approval from Congress?

I remember the Democrat-led Congress not allowing Donald Trump to spend $1 Billion to protect our own borders!

You know I mostly agree and get your point. I still like to twist things a bit in a thought provoking way.
To me Fear is chain linked to Respect, in manners of competition and war, is the inevitable next step. If you Fear your opponent then you respect their capabilities, you must. Now if you Respect your opponent you may not Fear them. We can easily see someone being Respected but not Feared however when you Fear someone you best Respect them. So Trump is Feared means they also Respect him.
And as far as Trump being a threat, I would say we've past that threshold-the threat is now real, it has arrived.

We may hear more about what really happen with the Burisma scandal under Trump, I can not wait to see what is going on.

After all is all in the name of preserving democracy, right?

Trump will REACTIVATE the Quid-Quo-Pro...i.e. "If you Don't turn over the Biden Corruption Evidence, you're not getting any more money. Get used to the Russia flag flying in your capital."

Strange how he got impeached for making demands of Zelenskyy, but Biden didn't get punished by Obama for making demands quid-quo-pro of former Ukraine President Shokin.

My febel attempt at reading body language and facial expressions are as follows:

Trump is quite satisfied with the art of the deal.

Macron is backed in a corner knowing there's no way out.

Zelensky is smirking because he has a heads up on the DNC pln to deal with Trump.

I expect a whole lot of pain during at least the first six months of Trump's administration, as will be necessary to get spending under control; there will be a lot of unrest from both political ideologs and much gnasjing of teeth until the results of new policies begin to show.

By the end of Trump's term it will be obvious that the suffer or prosperity od the US citizens is at the behest of ouir own gov. by design.

To phrase it another way, Trump is a warrior in a garden. He is choosing peace rather than incapable of violence, because he knows the cost and his job is to generate maximum product with the least sacrifice.

So Zelenskyy has time to bounce to France to herald Trump, er, I mean Norte Dame reopening while his countrymen are getting crushed by Putin?

I mean, I guess when the spigot starts to go dry, you gotta put on your latex and dance to the new tune, no?

Almost like he’s a mediocre actor playing a part.

What Trump might do is rather crucial to Ukraine.

So why on Earth do you see fit to have a go at him for being there and meeting him?

😀

Donald Trump on Sunday called for an immediate ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia to end “the madness” in the region.

The president-elect's message, which he shared on Truth Social, came hours after Trumpmet with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy in Paris. Trump vowed during the presidential campaign to bring an end to the conflict, which he said he could do before his inauguration, but he has provided few details as to how he intends to do so.

"Zelenskyy and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop the madness," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "There should be an immediate ceasefire and negotiations should begin."

This weekend in France, Jill Biden looks like she wants President-elect Trump to do something to protect the Biden family.

Notice how with each photo of Zelenskyy and Trump in France, Zelenskyy looks smaller and smaller?
