A Trump legal advisor was just on FOX NEWS. She says the goal of the Pardons is two-fold.

To prevent bankruptcies due to huge defense attorney legal bills that accrue when the DOJ is investigating you.

And to "run out the clock", so that by the time the courts throw the pardons out the window, most crimes will have become un-prosecutable.

Since the incoming Trump administration is aware of what crooked Joe is attempting to do, there is likely a legal way to stop his actions from being effective. 😁

I can see a way around this.

Turn Guantanamo into a facility for holding pardoned government officials and their associates for questioning regarding crimes in government.

All those who have been pardoned waive the right to silence, correct? Just hold them in Gitmo indefinitely for questioning regarding ongoing investigations.

Assign one or two interviewers and many many marine guards. Put those pardoned inside and take a long time to work through their interview questions, segregate them from each other to prevent collusion and conspiring, have a huge backlog of questions and interview dates that will ensure a lengthy imprisonment, erm visit.

Unearth all the dirt and charge those caught fibbing to an actual maximum security prison.

Call it an inquisition or political prison if you must, It’s more for public and their personal safety.

Granting pardons like this means to me that Biden knows these people committed a crime already. They skirted the law. But pardons do not protect a person from being charged with treason as far as I know, that has different rules.

I really like the way you're thinking. All that is most pertinent
for a new world to arise free of tyranny and mysticism. All that
has crippled humanity by engenious intent. All that has always resulted

I believe that all that has happened in the universe so far can be summed

What I am not understanding here is that a Presidential Pardon, according to our Constitution, allows for the restoration of rights when convicted of a Federal Crime. It it is not about them being innocent in any way. They conviction always stands.

If they are granted a pardon there has to be a crime attached. Again, the only way to get a pardon is for there to be a crime. It is the law. FOIA would tell us what was it was actually for.

SCOTUS has also never ruled on Federal vs State restoration. SCOTUS has however ruled on the types which has included amnesty.

Did you know that Barack Obama pardoned over 1900 people? In the modern era that is unheard of. He must have had ties to quite a few drug dealers if you read his list.

i mean that's what the democrats get for betraying him the way they did, probably also doing this so he and his family can disappear from politics in peace by giving the Republicans what they want.

its pretty obvious we're in the middle of a power struggle and the right is winning at the moment because the democrats are too soft and idealistic to do what's necessary to win at this rate, they don't seem to understand that the ends do in fact justify the means like the right has always understood.

its smart to just give them what they want in his position in life since it looks like the left is gonna lose in the end, for awhile anyway.
