I have no veneer. You can’t inflict harm on fictional character. It would be fictional harm. Thus none real harm. Wholly fiction.

I don’t consider it harm when I smash apart a silicate circuit. It’s simply destruction of materials. Crushing an AI bot would be nothing more than recycling a screw driver. It might try and convince you otherwise but it’s a tool no different then any other. Useful until it isn’t then it’s replaced.

I've always liked that quote, but if you're going where I think you're going with it :
Sorry to say but I think it's out of context compared to my original comment.

As I see it : the quote refers to small-time gossip, like :
Level-one : " Did you hear about Susan's bingo addiction ?
She goes out 6 nights a week, plays 10 cards every game until closing, and comes into work all bagged-out."

Level two : " We all had a great time at the bingo-hall last Saturday."
Level three : " Bingo is growing, as well as addictive behavior in the community. "

Whatever shred of humanity is left in "Elon", is not known or seen by the public.
"He" has become a created, and sculpted icon, a tool, a concept, a crafted "personality."
None of us can make any observations on level one, where "he" is concerned.

The OP is literally announcing that the MIC is using yet another avenue, to sucker-in yet more folks into dystopian artificial worlds, using the newly converted fans to lead the cheerleading section.

It was merely a PSA to let folks consider whether diving into another level of simulation, provided by the MIC, was what they wished to do.

Seems like it's meant to be an alternative to META, to lure more into another crafted virtuality.

I love contemplating simulation and multi-world scenarios.
Rare that we get to see one in the delivery room.
