Man, I almost don't care what ya' make for Turkey day; you have to admit; the next day is even better!

Many say the "turkey sammiches" are the best, but there's more. There's leftovers!!!

The next day, everything tastes even better! I dunno why, maybe it's all in my head...I don't care.

Good Lawd...I could go on, but I think you get the point!

THANKS~!

Mysterious food magic happens in the fridge overnight.

Good soups become delicious.

Stews develop depth and complexity.

Casseroles become something other than they were the first day.

Enjoy your holiday FCD !

As Jed Clampett said, "The thing about possum innards is that they're just as good on the second day."

Makes sense to me over here. Same as Koala Innards,

Kind regards to all, I'm glad your Thanksgiving was a hoot.

One year I made too much food and had so much dressing left over that I smashed a thun layer on the pizza pan and top it with all the ingredients from the previous dinner. It actually turh=ned out to be pretty drn fantastic!

(I didn't top with cheese- just heated it through with a gravy topping.)

Only pizza I ever made friends with....

We had Turkey sandwiches for lunch, I took all the meat off the bones last night and today I boiled the bones for broth and the wife made Turkey pot pie. Tomorrow I will make the Turkey soup, still contemplating whether I should make rice, wild rice, and barley soup or just turkey noodle soup with baby yukon golds in it. Potatoes in the broth when boiling make both great potatoes and add flavor to the soup broth.

Both soups sound great, but my vote goes with the Turkey noodles and baby golds👍
