Lacking empathy just means that other peoples reactions are mystifying.

A lack of empathy is not synonymous with a lack of morality. If the internal dialogue of a psychopath is to make the world a better place; leave it better than you found it, than there is no self serving and lives are not ruined.

I agree with your first sentence, to be fully human is to be self serving and strive to be better than (read dominate) our fellow humans.

Those who lack a conscience are just better at it than others. Evil is a verb.

What Putin has essentially said is ,that he has a weapon which can take out underground bunkers with precision, which cannot be stopped. Still want to go to war? It means that if they have the right intel they can decapitate the enemy. If what he says is not BS , which it is not because he has already given the customer a sample. Future hostilities will mean one side will not have a command structure.

Putin tried to convince the world that Russia was a super power.

The past 3 years has shown that to be BS.

"Superpower" is a term used for the US and Russia due to their nuclear stockpiles, has nothing to do with Russia fighting a conventional war with Ukraine, while Ukraine is supplied with billions of dollars of weapons from 30 different countries.

That's like saying the US is a fake super power cause they couldn't beat a bunch of guys driving tiny Toyota trucks with AKs and Rocket launchers from the 1970s and 80s for almost 20 years and had to retreat home with the country the same way it was and under the same leadership as it was in the year 2000

Maybe you should educate yourself on the definition of the meaning " superpower "

It's military capability is only one facet. It also includes It's economy, political and diplomatic influence, technology capabilities and cultural strength to name a few.

Russia is failing in almost all of those areas. Russia a superpower ? NO.
