There is nothing to stop Harris from setting up her next Presidential campaign. It's only 4 years away...

Except for one problem. She has illustrated, beyond any reasonable doubt, that she is incapable of managing, well, anything. How can anyone expect a person who can't even manage their own campaign, to manage the entire country...on any level?

She torpedoed herself. She was a hollow suit. And now she's proved it to not only all Americans, but the World at large.

How do you counter that?

She's DEI.
Skill, talent and qualifications are unnecessary and you HAVE to vote for her...or you're a Nazi.

Every single lockdown in the US was implemented before Biden assumed office.

Then it went on and on, and Biden had the power to push the States to lift it and he went the other way to keep it going, and to keep schools closed to the point it damaged our kids.

74,378 US citizens under the age of 50 had died of COVID-19 by June 2023. There was never zero risk from COVID-19 for younger people.
50 is young? Under 30 was about 10,000 and most of them were high risk due to other medical conditions. 50+ was 900k... As I said, the vaccine was for the very old and high-risk people who had other medical issues.

So, they were high risk people who had other medical issues. I think that happens in all age groups. And if they die from a disease, they still died from that disease, statistically, factually, and medically. You can't just throw away the data because it offends your political ideology.

if your surgical team operated on you without masks or face shields? I assure you, they wouldn't be protecting themselves from you. Face masks primarily work to inhibit the spread of pathogens carried on the breath, not to filter them out of our inhalations.
They wear them correctly and use the correct masks. It's also to maintain a sterile environment. Are you still wearing yours? lol

No I'm not currently wearing a mask, but I did recently when I tested positive for COVID-19. I self-isolated then, too, until I tested clear. I didn't hear of anyone I know getting COVID after I started wearing my mask and isolating. Perhaps I stopped that particular bit of an outbreak. That was particularly easy, eh? Wonder why Americans couldn't do it? Perhaps they were at a Trump rally or in a crowded commute despite being sick?

Pfizer paid for their own research and logistics up until then.

You sure like to cherry pick without providing ALL the information. Warp Speed supported 7 companies. Pfizer joined the Warp Speed program in July 2020, and signed a $1.95 billion contract to be paid out when the vaccine would be FDA approved, and included an initial order of 100 million vaccines. In December 2020, the Trump administration ordered 200 million additional vaccines from Pfizer. So you are both correct and incorrect...lol They did as you said above, but also took advantage of Warp Speed.

Sounds like your government was throwing your dollars into a dumpster fire for you.

Close to 70 million doses were delivered to the old and high-risk when Biden took office, but my point was the mandate from Biden that forced the vaccine onto everyone. I think you keep missing that point in that Biden stopped it from being a choice. You don't mandate an experimental vaccine to everyone when only a small percentage really needed it to the point the risks were acceptable.

What??? Trump conned the US public into paying for 200 million doses (plus that given out to 6 companies, apparently), and only 70 million doses were actually administered?

Are you, perhaps, in the market for some lunar real-estate? It's really cheap right now.

No, Trump said many things that weren't rational and had no basis in science or testing.

But Fauci, on the other hand, usually explained at length why he was saying what he did, and could reference academic papers and tested established procedure in support.
Today, we know Fauci lied many times and pulled things out of his butt calling it science.

Nah, that's the problem with being informed by right-wing propagandists who misinterpret and spin their own narratives.

Almost everything Tucker Carlson said about Anthony Fauci this week was misleading or false

Fauci Pushes Back Partisan Attacks in Fiery House Hearing Over COVID Origins and Controversies

These sort of polititcally-biased and usually right-wing publications are always spinning excuses, for all sorts of the dumb stuff, that 'right-whingers' say. It's weird that you can't see it. It's fairly obvious.

But, I have made mistakes. Everyone does. In fact, the American people have just re-elected the same guy who screwed the US economy and denied and distracted through an outbreak of infection that killed more than a million US citizens, and specifically through his inaction and constant sabotaging of mitigation efforts.

Dude lay off it. Or do you want to contend with the fact democrats caused most of those covid deaths? One name, Andrew Cuomo. That pesky nursing home debacle, all after getting his book out on how well he handled the crisis! You are the one caught in the loop, same excuses everytime! Trump is bad man, no blame for the actions the people you claim are so dang effective.

Yeah, and what was Trump doing about the problem that was at the time affecting every state in the union? You know, the Federal issue of COVID-19?

'It's going to disappear': A timeline of Trump's claims that Covid-19 will vanish

You see, it is possible two different people can do something wrong at the same time. Trump's dumping on Cuomo doesn't exonerate Trump. They are both 'bad', and handled things very poorly.

That is why the USA didn't bounce back like other countries. The wealthiest most technologically advanced country did crap, while the majority of other countries, even those with very few resources, did quite well.

What countries did right and wrong in responding to the pandemic

In all those graphs of all those countries, compare the graph of the US's performance. Get it?

I doubt that her loss in the election is the end of her career, and she won't be an octogenarian like Trump will soon be.

And, really, Trump is sure to do exactly the same stuff again. His entire campaign was a re-hash of all the stuff he said he would do leading up to 2016 - and yet somehow didn't achieve while in office last time. He could campaign forever on things he never actually completes.

There is nothing to stop Harris from setting up her next Presidential campaign. It's only 4 years away...

How in the name of Hell do you tie Trump into this coked-up tirade by Kamala?? šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

I think perhaps the she is implying that Trump will be the one who will take away liberties.

Things like criminalizing abortion, which will lock people up who have done what is now not considered a crime.
Things like prosecuting on the basis of an Executive Order, bypassing due legal process.
Things like applying political bully tactics against officers of the court, firing them summarily if they don't do his bidding.
Things like using the armed forces against protests and invoking the insurrection act against dissent.
Things like prosecuting media organizations who won't carry only government preferred reportage.
Things like deporting those who are Americans by birth but whose parents were undocumented.
He has already removed the ability to prosecute a President for crimes if the crime was committed as an 'official act'.
Defunding and dissolving civil liberties organizations and departments.

That sort of stuff.

Does she have a trail of bankruptcies, a personal fraud conviction, a criminal tax fraud conviction for her primary company, and failed businesses?

I mean, Harris is, for the moment, Vice President of the USA. She must have something?

She torpedoed herself. She was a hollow suit. And now she's proved it to not only all Americans, but the World at large.

edit - Want just a simple example? Why would anyone with two neurons to rub together pay Oprah Winfrey $1.7 million dollars to do anything? Anything at all? Winfrey is a billionaire! Clearly she doesn't need the money, so why pay her...that is, IF she was such a died in the wool Harris supporter? There's simply no explanation for it. Winfrey should have done it for free...IF she really believed in Harris (which she clearly didn't, else she wouldn't have held the campaign hostage for almost $2 million dollars to speak). Presidents don't even get that much!

And one other thing...do you realize the DNC spent over $150 million per WEEK during the last four weeks of the campaign??? For what???? Eminem? Oprah? What did they get? They got a shellacking, is what they got. America saw through that charade, and even hardened democrats said "NOPE!". How do you explain all that? You can't. Sorry, but you can't.

Do you think her money just fell into Oprah's hands by magic? Nope, she charges to 'host' people, and to advertise stuff. That's the way this money thing works.

How much do you think the recent Trump circus took to stage?

Expenditures Breakdown, Donald Trump, 2024 cycle

Total sum: $138,602,672.

Sadly, the people voted, and she got bang no one but twice.

I guess the third one is the charmer, lets see how many of the democrat donors are willing to give more money to a looser.

Geez.... There were two groups of people who needed the vaccine that outweighed the risks that an experimental vaccine would bring too. One group was the very old, and the other group were people with other medical conditions that made them weak to the virus too. The 10,000 people under 30 who died of the virus were in that second group, the rest of the 100 million didn't see much of anything but were forced to take the vaccine anyway.

The vast majority didn't need the vaccine and the risks it brought since the virus was hardly a small cold to them. COVID for me lasted 2 days, for example.

No I'm not currently wearing a mask, but I did recently when I tested positive for COVID-19. I self-isolated then, too, until I tested clear. I lived in Japan for 5 years, so I understand the reasons they wear masks, and you are correct in you wear them when you have symptoms and you need to go into public. That isn't what the left pushed was it...lol

What??? Trump conned the US public into paying for 200 million doses (plus that given out to 6 companies, apparently), and only 70 million doses were actually administered?

I said by the time Biden entered office on Jan 21, by July 800 million more were available that Trump contracted to have.

Was Approved Dec 2020, and by Jan 20 2021 10s of millions of high-risk people got it, by July 2021 800 million more vaccines were produced. That was all from Trump. All Biden did was mandate a medical treatment for everyone no matter their condition.

We all listened to the BS Fauci said daily that he basically pulled out of his butt and called it science starting with the whole it did come from a leaky level 4 lab he funded that was 100 feet from where it all started...lol

Lordy I read the Vox article on Trumps "Ominus plan" and I must
admit it is shocking. I mean I had know idea that anyone would,
but only could choose to believe such absolute crap. And then
use it as a link for an argument that soon enough and in many
cases already has seen you eating crow with egg on your face.

Here's a sample of what you're trying to pass off as remotely believable.

And itā€™s just one of many ways in which Trumpā€™s pursuit of power at any cost would have tangible and direct consequences for ordinary Americansā€™ lives.

Comparing Trumps "pursuit of power" in and of itself being
laughable hyperbole. To the lefts pursuit to keep him from
power at any cost is nothing short of maniacle at best.

But hey you really did do your best to stick to the script dispite
the dialogue being total lefty crap.

Why do you fill your head with such garbage?
