They're doing their best to setup Trump for a bad scene.
With all due respect, I don't think Trump or Biden are primary considerations in deciding French foreign policy....they are very much their own people.

That's why there won't be a nuclear war any time soon in the sense that you are thinking about. No nuclear power is going to attack another nuclear power with nuclear weapons unless their national survival is at stake. That means that Russia will not attack the UK,
It’s not about the survival of Russia, it’s about Putin holding on to as much power as possible. That’s the wild card.
While we dump billions into the Ukraine so one corrupt government can fight another corrupt government? Why. So a whole generation of Ukrainian men can be lost? How is this making Europe more stable?
It's an authoritarian dictatorship doing a land grab against a sovereign democratic nation.
Allowing this to go unopposed would be catastrophic for European stability.

If European stability is such a big concern, why hasn't NATO stopped this BS yet?? How many NATO Members are bordering unstable Ukraine? How many NATO countries border Russia?

Like how we let Croatia take Krajina (land grab) from another sovereign country in the 90s, and then brought Croatia in nato shortly after?

If NATO got fully and directly involved it would be over in a few weeks.
However the danger of Putin actually pushing the big red button would go up exponentially.

Source that it would be over in a “few weeks” ?
It took nato 78 days of brutal bombing on little Serbia in 99’
Where even Serbia shot down a F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter.
78 days serial bombing campaign on a little ass country like Serbia.
Try that on a much larger and stronger super nuclear country like Russia.

NATO deployed a fraction of it assets in a very limited way.
Not exactly fully involved.

lol yea ok
So do you have a source about your claim that it would be over “in a few weeks” if nato directly stepped in?
I at least posted sources that it took nato 78 days of a brutal bombing campaign on a much, much smaller country like Serbia in 99’ and even had a F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter shot down during it.

Yes, common sense and reality.

So no source?
Reality here is it took nato 78 days of serial bombing against Serbia in 99’. Who is a much, much smaller country than Russia.
78 days and had a stealth fighter got shot down by a couple dudes turning the radar on and off and used “common sense” lol
The nato bombing left a few thousand civilian casualties thanks to “high precision targeting” that had camera on it showing cruise missiles flying straight into a packed civilian train.
Not to mention that nato “accidentally” bombed the Chinese during it lol
Again no source from either of you claiming it would be over “in a few weeks” if nato directly stepped in etc.
Zero chance it would only take a few weeks to take over Russia. And it would lead to nuclear exchanges later on anyway. That’s common sense and reality.
Gg’s.
