I watched a documentary this morning called "The Bridgewater Triangle". This is a triangle shaped piece of land encompassing the area between Rehoboth, Freetown and Abington in the state of Massachusetts.

The triangle is illustrated in black on this map

This documentary was really interesting and touched on a lot of strange happenings in this area and the Forest and Swamp contained therein.

My first thought was, ok guys I have never been to the Eastern coast. Always wanted to visit haven't made it yet and I seriously had no idea how large of a state Massachusetts is! It's huge!

The stories I found particularly interesting in this movie were one about the Black Dog of Abington that killed 2 ponies

In 1976 Coleman investigated reports of a large black dog that terrorized the town of Abington, which is inside the Triangle. A local fireman who owned two ponies had gone to check on his animals, and was horrified to see them lying dead on the ground with a huge black dog chewing on their necks. The dog disappeared into the woods.

The Abington police searched for the dog but were unable to find it. In the following days they received thousands of phone calls from concerned residents. Children were kept inside during recess, and local homeowners stocked up on ammunition in case the monstrous canine should attack.

Finally, after several days, police officer Frank Curran sighted the dog walking along some train tracks. Curran shot at the dog, but it ignored him and his bullets and walked off. The dog wasn't seen in Abington after that.

I just thought this was scary!

Then they interviewed a man who saw a strange small creature while walking his dog one night

When we got to that cross street, we began walking along the sidewalk towards home. About 500 feet from my front door, Sam started pulling on her leash. Whimpering and shaking, she refused to go further.

"What's wrong Sam? Come on baby, let's go home and get some food."

I heard what was troubling her before I saw it.

"Keer. Keer. Ee wahn chu. Keeeer. Keer keeeer! Eee waaahn chu. Chu. Ee wahn chu". A high pitched voice floated through the darkness, sounding like a pleading child.
"Keer. KEER. KEEEER!" It's pitch intensifying like the siren of a speeding fire truck.

I couldn't make out the words. It might be a toddler, who is just learning to speak, I thought.
A moment later I noticed something moving in the shadows. Walking slowly into the center of the circle of light cast by the street lamp, It stopped and lifted a hairy hand or paw. Palm inward, its scooped hand began moving. It was beckoning me to come forward!

"Keer. Chu. Eh wahn chu. Keer. Chu. Eee wan Chu."

Sam tried to pull me away. Now, she was rattling so badly, I was afraid she would break her leg joints. Her head down, near tears, she would not look at the strange beast that was summoning me.

It must be a kid. He wandered out into the night. I have to help him.

"Are you okay? Do you need help? Do you know where your house is?"

"Eee wahn chu. Chu. Chu. Eeeeeee waaahn chu. EEE WAAHN CHU! CHU!

No response. It just keep whining those strange sounds; kind of like words. But words I did not understand.

I looked closer. It was no kid. About three or four feet tall, it was covered in fur and had kind of a 'chipmunkey' face. A fairly expansive pot belly gave it a look of old age.

Now this is what the man says he saw, in the documentary they compare it to something I guess from Native American folklore called a "Pukwudgie" but they also describe "Pukwudgie" as being a smooth skinned creature in this documentary and what Russo says he saw was hairy.

He says that he thought it was saying "we want you, we want you, come here, come here"

I thought these were the most interesting stories in this documentary but they talk about a lot of other neat things like solitude rock, Bigfoot sightings, unexplained deaths, orbs, cults and all types of UFO and paranormal happenings in this area.

Has anybody been to the Bridgewater Triangle? Seen anything weird? Is there any weird areas in your state like the Triangle?

I also watched a documentary on it last year. Quite the mystery. Could be one of them there super secret alien underground bases or a portal.
