The problem is price gouging is not happening. It was just a way to explain their failures in massive cost increases. We have many big stores shutting down, and in the last 2 years, 12,000 stores have been closed. Looking at Food, they are operating on less than 2% profit, so have fun fixing prices lower. Even Kroger's leadership took around a 15 to 20% pay cut due to underperforming, so one would think they would be rolling in the money if they were price gouging.

Yes, I will say they were out conned. In my own manner of speaking that is what I was attempting to get at, the illusions that are necessary to keep this whole game of western civilization going and going. Where I differ from many here I think is that I am also willing to hold that lens up to Trump while many others are not.

BECAUSE...democrats were never serious and honest about this idea from the very beginning! They never wanted this, despite trying to convince their voter base they were all for it.

Democrats NEVER wanted cheap food prices; they wanted high food prices...so people would be happy with "free" government cheese. This is all about dependence on government.

If you believe, for one second, that democrats believe in "the People", you would be sorely mistaken. Government democrats only believe in one thing...glory and glory...for THEMSELVES! All the rest of you democrats are ... SCREWED!

Human life is not a uniform condition. As we pop out into the world some do it smoothly while others get stuck in that tiny hole on their way out. Some have to be cut out into the world. Some come out in pairs and trips and more. Some come out stuck together with two heads and one body. Some come out head first and some feet first. Some develop blond hair ans some red.

Some come out and the sex is not completely determined and medical procedures need to be taken to establish that. It's a mess.

Human society has long had these variations in birth. Some times those variations were just discarded or left to die. Now though we seem to do all we can to include these variations into the human fold. Is a two headed woman still a human? I think so, two humans in fact. Can you recall a time when even in this country a person was not considered human by law if their skin color was not Caucasian?

I'm not saying you or the we you refer to are supposed to believe anything you don't want to believe. I was pointing out that those liberals do believe in a philosophy that tells them it is a deep understanding of the human condition, HENCE they act upon that belief.

I don't think conned is the correct word. They believe what they invented, when you talk cult look no further than the left. They fail to see anything else, and do not want to see anything else. They invent their own realities and because of that, they feel that can manipulate the actual reality and they just got a hard lesson they can't. 2 + 2 still equals 4 no matter how much they want it to be 5.

This last 4+ years it was well beyond just trusting what someone says. We are talking about how men can be women, no definition of a woman. It's OK to chemically castrate children. It's OK to put porn-level material in 3rd-grade libraries. Masks worked, lockdowns were great, and mandates were correct even after years of data now that says it was all wrong. There is no extreme cost increases and the little that may be there is because of price gouging, they say this while paying 2x or more for groceries, rent doubled, etc. It was all this and dozens of other stuff to include all the crazy things said about Trump. He will be Hitler, will not leave office, and will put all liberals in jail. I work with a lesbian who thinks she might be thrown off a roof now...geez
